NEW: Visualize It (beta)
Train calculation the way strong players do: in your head. The board stays frozen while you enter whole continuations as arrows. When the round ends, a review grades every line you found or played out, and only then does the engine switch on. Positions come from your own games (one per game, so the deck stays varied) plus a curated set. Free for everyone.
• Blindfold mode: hide the pieces on your turn, or always
• Legal-move highlights are off by default (turn them back on in Settings)
• No clock on screen; your time appears in the round summary
• A cleaner picker with filters that fold away
Game review
• The game timeline now marks where the opening, middlegame and endgame begin
Sharper strategic flashcards
• "Good Decision?" asks only about the move you actually played, and replays the continuation behind each reason
• Outposts are only called out when they are truly permanent
• Trades that take away your opponent's bishop pair are now credited
• Tap a square in the explanation to highlight it on the board
Guess the Evaluation
• Now points out knights and bishops that have nowhere to go
Fixes
• Engine evaluations no longer flip sign while a line is replayed
• Email verification links open correctly
