v3.3 • Projects: sort your shots into projects and star the ones that matter. You can also pick which project the next shot goes into. • Project report: export a project as a PDF — lens and format only, every reading, or just the starred shots. Leave the location out with one switch. • Full-screen viewer: tap a photo to fill the screen, swipe between shots, pinch or double-tap to zoom. • Volume-button shutter: on iOS 18 and later, the volume buttons and Camera Control take the shot. • Return to this position: tap it in a photo's details and the viewfinder restores that format, lens and movements, then fades the photo over the live image so you can line it up. A banner shows how far the spot is and which way. • The sun at a chosen moment: pick a date and time in the Sun Planner, tap "see this moment in the viewfinder", and that is the sun you get.

v3.2.1 • Gallery captions keep the focal length, even on a long lens name. A wider screen shows more frames at once. • Open a shot and see the photo next to its details — no more scrolling past the picture to read the place or movements. • Export your gear and your saved places come with it. • On iPad, the gallery, sun planner and library have more room.

v3.2 Plan, find, and hand off • Save places you return to, and open them again in the Sun Planner. • Search the gallery and browse by shooting day (in the zone you shot in). • Hand a scouted frame to GroundGlass: photo, camera, lens, place, date and movements open a pre-filled new record. • Reference library share cards redesigned — paper white, clearer type, and an optical schematic for large-format lenses. • More large-format cameras and lenses in the library, with coverage figures cleaned up. No new permissions beyond an App Group shared with GroundGlass (our companion app). Everything stays on device.

Bring your own gear • Add custom cinema and film cameras and lenses; export your kit to a file and import it on another device. • Library additions, including the newly released Sony FX5 and other recent cameras. In the viewfinder • Export an equipment package as a PDF. • Added and updated several film looks and tools. • Redesigned photo caption bar with a compass, in light or dark. • Composition guide, centre mark and horizon line are now independent; the app reopens on the format, lens and kit you left. No new permissions — everything runs on device; weather and place names use Apple's own services.
