Version 9.1.0 — RingQ Meet, Click-to-Dial Links & Default Calling App Our biggest release since launch: video conferencing built right into RingQ, click-to-dial from your browser, guest meeting join without signing in, and on-device background blur for meetings. New: *RingQ Meet — video conferencing built into the app, from a new sidebar tab. Start a meeting, join by link or code, admit people from the waiting room, and moderate as host: admit, decline, remove, or end the meeting for everyone. *Join a meeting as a guest — a 'Join a meeting' button on the login screen lets anyone paste a meeting link or code and join without signing in; paste a bare code and RingQ asks only for your server. *Meeting invites open with your signed-in identity — clicking an invite while logged in joins as you, with your name on the roster, instead of asking who you are. *Click-to-dial from your browser — a ringq:// link focuses RingQ, opens the dialer and fills in the number, and can ask to place the call immediately. *Default calling app — make RingQ the app that opens tel:, callto: and sip: links, so phone numbers clicked in your browser, email, or any other app arrive in the dialer ready to call. *Confirm before dialing from a web link — a Settings toggle, on by default, so a link can never place a billable call without your say-so. *Background blur and background images in meetings — replace or blur what's behind you, processed on your Mac. *Share files in a meeting — attach from the file picker, drag files onto the meeting window, or paste from the clipboard; present a file to the room and download what others share. *Copy meeting invite link — share a meeting by copying the invite straight to your clipboard. *Meeting sounds — audible cues when someone joins, leaves, raises a hand, or knocks to be let in. Improvements: *Calls and meetings no longer fight over your camera and microphone — an incoming or outgoing call automatically pauses your meeting camera and mic, and when the call ends only what was on before is turned back on. *Your meeting layout choice is remembered between launches instead of resetting every time. *The dialer is hidden while you are on the Meet tab, and the number you had typed is still there when you switch back. *Drag-and-drop and paste only change behaviour while a meeting's chat panel is open, so they never interfere with the rest of the app. Fixes: *Meeting video no longer collapses the connection on busy or restrictive networks — this resolves the "it disconnects when I turn my camera on" failures. *A dial link that arrives before RingQ has finished connecting is now held until the app is online rather than silently dropped, falls back to filling in the dialer during an active call, and expires if it goes unanswered. *Meeting sound, invite sharing, file attachments and display preferences no longer silently do nothing on desktop — each now has a real macOS implementation.

Version 8.2.0 — Search, Readable Call Times & Chat Upgrades A quality-of-life release: search in Call Logs and Voicemails, friendly call timestamps, Enter-to-send in chat, automatic call log refresh — plus major chat sync with the webapp: read receipts, AI assistant replies, owner Chat Settings, and pagination. New: *Search in Call Logs and Voicemails — a header search button opens a live filter matching caller name, number, or date and time; type 'Today', 'Jul 3', or '10:48 AM' to find a specific moment. *Chat Settings for owners — configure customer-chat email alerts and the AI assistant (Gemini or ChatGPT, API token, custom instructions, on/off) from a new button in the chat header, using the same settings as the webapp. *AI assistant replies in chat — automatic AI answers to website visitors appear as distinct 'RingQ AI' messages, both live and in reloaded history. *See more in the chat list — a button at the bottom of the queue list loads the next batch of older conversations, matching the webapp. Improvements: *Human-readable call times — Call Logs and Voicemails show 'Today, 7:57 PM', 'Yesterday, 4:57 PM', a weekday within the last week, or the full date for older entries; hover for the complete date and time. Today/Yesterday labels are localized. *Press Enter to send in chat — Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a new line; outside a text field, Enter still starts a call. *Opening a chat marks it as read — the unread pill and sidebar badge clear immediately, a read receipt is sent, and the count stays cleared when you return. *Chat CSV export uses the new server contract — transcripts are emailed per conversation, and empty conversations show a clear notice instead of failing silently. *Resolving a conversation closes the conversation pane, matching the webapp. *Agent transfer picker shows cleaner labels — first name and extension.
