Better Accessibility for Non-Pro Phones

Distance announcements now work on iPhones without LiDAR. This was previously a Pro feature. Any iPhone running iOS 14 or later can now tell you how far away obstacles are. Fewer false alarms. "What's around" responds a bit faster.

GuideDog now understands four new voice commands — say what you need, get an answer instantly: • "Read this" — reads any printed text aloud (signs, menus, labels) • "What bill" — identifies US currency • "What color" — names the dominant color in view • "Remember this" / "Take me back" — drops a marker at your spot and guides you back. Indoor wayfinding without GPS. Other improvements: • Colorblind-friendly alert palette (toggle in the help screen) • Quieter when walking past groups of people • No more announcements for potted plants • Cleaner camera-toggle icon
