Now you're in control: hide authors to instantly remove their recipes from Home, Explore, and Search, and report anything that doesn't belong - all managed from the new Hidden Authors list in Settings. Plus a lighter, faster app with various fixes.

Recipes now refresh instantly across Home, Profile, and Kitchen — edits, deletes, and new covers no longer require an app restart. Voice creation gets the same success animation as manual, and after publishing the new recipe opens directly with Profile parked underneath. Heart icon stays in sync across all tabs.

We've completely redesigned the onboarding — getting started with the app is now clearer and more enjoyable. We've also added a new, streamlined recipe editing flow and automatic language detection, so importing and recognition work more accurately.

Voice recipes are more reliable with a smoother editing flow. You can now keep multiple drafts, remove individual recipes from your shopping list with a swipe, see pantry staples right in recipe details, and mark ingredient amounts as optional. Plus a cleaner UI with bottom sheets and various fixes.

You can now save recipes directly from Instagram Reels, and we'll pull out the ingredients and steps for you automatically. Prefer your own words? Dictate the recipe by voice and let Guston structure it. Cooking mode now supports multiple timers at once, with Live Activities and Dynamic Island so you can keep an eye on everything from the lock screen. We also rebuilt the shopping list, added on the fly recipe translation, brought in system share sheet support, and refreshed the iPad design.
