Every workspace now uses the native tab layout on iPhone and iPad, keeping Reports, Merchant Insights, Warranty, Mileage, Per Diem, Learn, and Audit directly reachable. This release also improves expense-review flow and includes refreshed current-build screenshots.

NEW: Smart Filing + Merchant Insights. Smart Filing Scan a receipt and it files itself: the app learns how YOU categorize each merchant and applies it to the next scan (falling back to a built-in dictionary of common merchants). A small badge shows why — everything stays on device. Merchant Insights A new Reports card ranks every merchant by real spend: visits, average ticket, usual category, and your top merchant at a glance. Also: refreshed product pages and support site.

## Audit Readiness Reports now include an Audit Readiness card before export. It scores the current packet and flags missing receipt pages, missing merchant names, missing amounts, uncategorized expenses, possible duplicates, unrecorded tax values, outstanding reimbursements, and warranty or return windows due soon. ## Better Export Confidence The readiness panel gives each issue a clear fix, so users can clean up the library before sharing CSV, PDF, audit report PDF, or ZIP exports. ## Store Package Refresh Version 2.1 includes updated App Store metadata, support documentation, privacy documentation, and fresh screenshots showing the current receipt workflow.

What's New in Receipt to PDF 1.4 Multi-page OCR - totals on page 2 are no longer missed. Previous versions ran on-device text recognition only on the first page of a multi-page scan. 1.4 now processes every page and merges the results: the highest total found across all pages becomes the suggested amount, the first clearly legible merchant name wins, and all recognized lines are available for review. Restaurant and hotel receipts that put the grand total on a back page now auto-fill correctly. Duplicate receipt detection. When you save a new scan, Receipt to PDF checks your existing library for a receipt with the same merchant name and amount dated within 7 days. If one is found you get a clear warning - "Possible Duplicate" - before saving, so accidental double-entries no longer silently inflate your expense totals or CSV reports. You can save anyway if the charges are genuinely separate. Per-category spending budgets. Set a spending cap for any IRS Schedule C expense category directly in the Reports tab. A color-coded progress bar shows how much of the budget you have used within the current date range - green below 85%, orange as you approach the limit, and red with an explicit dollar-over figure when exceeded. Budgets sync with the same date filter the rest of the app uses, so a Q2 budget check shows only Q2 spending. Everything is stored on device; no account required.

What's New in Receipt to PDF 1.3 Date-range filtering across every view. Filter your library and reports by This Month, Last Month, Q1–Q4, This Year, Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months, or a custom date range you pick. The receipt list, totals, category subtotals, and all exports (CSV, Summary PDF, ZIP) reflect exactly the window you choose — so your Q1 report only contains Q1. Monthly spending bar chart. The Reports tab now shows a bar chart of your total receipt spending for each of the last six calendar months, built on device with no network call. At a glance you can see whether March was heavier than February or whether Q4 is trending up. Category share visualization. A color-coded proportional bar and legend now appears under the date-filtered totals, showing what fraction of your spending falls in each Schedule C category. Know immediately whether Meals or Supplies is your largest line item without reading every number.
