I’ve had the F5000 for a couple months now. Early adopter. I’ve been waiting for a product like this one for years. The F5000 Generally speaking is a good product idea but not it’s not quite ready for prime time IMHO. That said, the internal wireless is completely unreliable and regularly mis informs. The unit seems to fail when it gets warm. This has happened 4 or 5 times already in a little over 2 months time in service. Frustrating. The systems hertz output starts wandering, clocks start slowing and the wireless absolutely fails. Completely. Very very frustrating and very time consuming . The only reliable fix for me so far has been to shut the entire unit off and go back on grid power for multiple hours at a time and then MAYBE the wireless and blue tooth will recover and connect once everything has cooled down. I have reset the entire system multiple times, removing and reinstalling the phone app. I have literally experienced hours of frustration with this app. iPhone 11. App regularly misses seeing the expansion battery data too. It just doesn’t see the battery 60- 70% of the time. The application is simply unreliable, poorly engineered and poorly executed at this time. Very frustrating. Not sure what to do about this emerging known product issue.

I’ve read the other review, and am a bit confused. The chief concern seems to do with older hardware compatibility with this app. I have a newer model, so haven’t encountered that yet.If you’re buying/bought new hardware, expect this app to do nearly everything you can do on the local device + slightly more powerful/insightful data reporting. Is it as smooth/powerful as the more established brands? No… but then again I paid half price comparably. Needless to say, my expectations are well past exceeded. 加油Pecron工程师。请继续提供硬件软件更新 🙏🏾🙌🏾

All I want is to open the app, connect to my Pecron over Bluetooth, check the battery percentage and wattage, and turn the AC on or off. That’s it. Instead, this app insists on phoning home to the internet first . and when that fails, the whole thing falls apart. If you don’t have an internet connection, the app won’t even list your devices. Why does a Bluetooth controller need the internet to show me hardware sitting three feet away? When it does load, it shows me stale data . not the last known reading, but the percentage and wattage from two weeks ago. Completely worthless for knowing what’s happening right now.Bluetooth connects maybe once every hundred tries, and when it does it feels like a miracle rather than a feature. I installed my battery in a spot that’s a pain to reach physically specifically because I assumed the app would handle control. Now I’m crawling around to do manually what the app was supposed to do.Here’s the bottom line: I literally want to sell my Pecron because of this. A power station I can’t turn on and off remotely is useless to me. This app should not have ANY WiFi functionality . just simple Bluetooth, no internet needed, ever. That’s the entire job. This is the simplest kind

Six stations between the house, the shop and the van, and used to walk to every single one just to check the battery. Not anymore - they're all right there on one screen. The power flow page is my favorite, you can see exactly what's charging and what's draining, and flipping the AC output on from the couch never gets old. The stats page is fun too, cool to see how many kWh the panels have racked up. Setup took a couple of minutes. Nice app.
