How To Wash
AI laundry label scanner
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Never ruin another garment.
How To Wash turns the confusing symbols on your care label into clear, plain-language instructions in seconds.
POINT YOUR CAMERA, GET THE ANSWER
Photograph a care label and AI reads every symbol: wash temperature, drying method, ironing limits, bleaching and dry-cleaning rules. No more guessing what a triangle with two lines means.
FULL GARMENT SCAN
Photograph the whole garment instead. The app detects the fabric and suggests a complete care routine, plus warnings specific to that material.
NO CAMERA NEEDED - AND IT'S FREE
Already holding the label? Tap through the symbols yourself in a guided step-by-step picker and get the same instructions instantly. Completely free, no subscription required.
YOUR WARDROBE, ORGANISED
Save every garment with its care instructions, notes and photo. Mark favourites, log each wash, and see when an item was last cleaned.
THE RIGHT PROGRAM ON YOUR MACHINE
Add your washing machine's brand and model once. The app matches each garment to the correct program and tells you which detergent and how much softener to use.
LEARN THE SYMBOLS
A built-in reference library explains every wash, bleach, dry, iron and dry-clean symbol, with practical tips.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
