What's new in version 1.9: • Sea miles certificate: choose your voyages and create a PDF certificate for sailing licence applications – with total distance, days at sea, cruising area and all voyages in one continuous table. Before exporting you can sign directly with your finger or Apple Pencil; the signature ends up only in the PDF and is not stored anywhere. • Night miles: Logge calculates from the recorded route how many miles you sailed between sunset and sunrise, shows how reliable the value is, and lets you correct it by hand if needed. • Siri & Shortcuts: "New log entry in Logge", "Log a tack in Logge", "Drop anchor in Logge" and more commands create pre-filled entries in the current voyage. "Lock", "Bridge" and "Weigh anchor" are even logged directly with your current position, without opening the app. Works offline. • Add boats directly in Settings, without starting a voyage first. Changes to the home port or boat type when starting a voyage now update the saved boat instead of creating a duplicate. • Maintenance now explains why engine hours stay at 0 when the boat has no identifier. New in Logge Pro: • Goals: set up to ten goals – such as nautical miles, night miles, days at sea, number of voyages or engine hours, for all time or the current year, per boat if you like – and track your progress in the statistics. • Career certificate: your entire sailing history in one PDF – totals including night miles, broken down by year, cruising area and boat. Plus minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

What's new in version 1.8: • Anchor watch: while anchored, Logge guards an adjustable radius (default 30 m – it depends on chain length and water depth) and sounds an alarm the moment the boat leaves it: because the anchor is dragging, or because the crew sailed on and forgot to log "Weigh Anchor". The watch keeps running in the background and breaks through Do Not Disturb when it needs to. A status row on the voyage screen shows that it's active and at what radius, and the alert notification lets you log "Weigh Anchor" straight from it. • More accurate distance: on tracked voyages, total, sailing and motoring distance, plus top and average speed, are now measured along the actual route instead of straight lines between log entries – often 20–40% more when beating to windward. Time at anchor now gets its own "At anchor" category instead of counting as sailed or motored distance; a motorboat no longer shows "Under sail", and a boat without an engine no longer shows "Under motor". Figures for already finished voyages may shift slightly, in the app and the PDF. • Confirmation before "Stop route tracking": an accidental tap – water on the display, for instance – no longer cuts off an in-progress route without asking first. • Lock-screen quick actions now match the boat type (motorboat instead of sailing manoeuvres) and have larger tap targets. • Filter log entries by type: the "Log entries" heading has a filter menu (funnel icon) – pick exactly which entry types to show, with "Select all"/"Deselect all". • Undo a deleted log entry: deleting an entry is no longer final the moment you confirm it – a banner offers "Undo" for five seconds and restores the entry exactly as it was. • Running distance: every log entry shows how far you've come since the start of the voyage as "Σ 42.3 NM", plus a "Total distance" row in the detail view of finished voyages. • PDF export field selection (Pro): choose exactly which columns appear in the printed logbook, and in what order, with a "Hide empty columns" toggle. Four new fields join the export – water depth, water temperature, entry type, and the running distance as its own column. Free exports remain unchanged, with the same 15 columns as before. Also: minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
