Kobra Caster is a professional macOS broadcasting app built for reliable live audio streaming, on-air processing and metadata control.
Stream to SHOUTcast and Icecast, make it sound truly on-air with the built-in Kobra Pro DSP, or use the built-in Local Server mode to distribute audio inside your own network.

A complete on-air processing chain that makes your stream loud, clean and competitive: phase rotator, AGC leveller, 6-band multiband compressor, bass enhancer, de-esser, stereo widener, LUFS loudness normaliser, oversampled clipper and a true-peak limiter. It runs on a dedicated background thread, so heavy processing never stalls the app or the encoder. Three streaming-tuned presets (Kobra Stream, Kobra Loud, Kobra Warm) plus your own saved presets.

Kobra Caster streams audio to SHOUTcast/Icecast and can process it with the built-in Kobra Pro DSP.
Test WITHOUT an external server:
1. Settings (gear) > ON AIR > enable "Local Source Server" and Start it.
2. Pick an Audio source (System audio) — grant Screen Recording when asked.
3. Press ON AIR, then "Open Screen" (or /listen) to hear the local stream.
Permissions:
• Screen Recording — to capture system/app audio (ScreenCaptureKit).
• Microphone — only when streaming from a hardware input device.
