Home inspectors access their assigned reports through the dashboard by entering a report number, which validates the report and displays the property address alongside any previously uploaded videos. From there, inspectors can record new videos directly or select existing ones from their iPad's photo library, tagging each upload with the appropriate department and finding zone. Uploads continue in the background even when the app is closed or the iPad is locked, ensuring large inspection videos complete reliably over cellular or Wi-Fi. Inspectors can also organize inspection photos into albums on the iPad, group them by order number, and email zipped albums directly to the processing team from within the app. A dedicated search tab allows inspectors to look up videos for any report ID and play them back full screen. Once all media has been captured and organized, inspectors can submit their videos, photos, and albums to trigger generation of the final HomeGuard inspection report.
