Islamic, Quran & Bedtime Audio
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
All-new Hikayati: a fresh home, a Listen tab with playlists for each child, a sticker album and daily reading streaks. 500+ Arabic stories with warm narration.
Hikayati is a library of more than 500 illustrated Arabic stories for kids, each one narrated in clear, warm Standard Arabic. Your child can listen, read along, or both, from animal tales and adventures to prophet stories, Juha and Kalila wa Dimna.
Please note: every story is in Arabic. Hikayati is made for Arabic-speaking families, and for children growing up abroad who want to keep their Arabic alive.
A story for every child
Adventures and courage, animals and nature, funny stories, friendship and family tales, and calm bedtime stories. Classic folk tales too, from Sindbad's voyages to the jokes of Juha that make grown-ups laugh first. New stories arrive every week.
Islamic stories, told faithfully
Stories of the prophets, tales from the Quran such as the People of the Cave and the People of the Elephant, and stories of the Sahaba like Bilal ibn Rabah and Umar ibn al-Khattab. Told in simple words for young listeners, with the events kept exactly as they are.
Listen and read together
Every story has audio narration, and the words light up on screen as they are read aloud, so your child can follow along word by word. A gentle way to build Arabic reading and pronunciation.
The new Listen tab
Playlists for each child, plus a player that keeps going in the background and on the lock screen, so stories carry on in the car or in bed with the screen off. A sleep timer stops the story on its own when you choose.
Every child gets their own world
A profile for each child with their own library and progress, and stories matched to ages 3 to 12. Every finished story earns new stickers for their album and keeps their daily reading streak going.
Easy on the eyes at night
Dark mode and warm page colors for bedtime reading, on iPhone and iPad, with landscape reading on iPad.
Offline stories
Download favorites and listen on a plane, in the car, or anywhere without internet.
Safe for kids
No ads, ever. Every purchase is behind a parent check. We never sell your child's data or share it with advertisers.
A daily story reminder
Pick a time and we'll remind you when it's story time.
