- Wind barbs: Wind is now drawn with formal wind barbs — the circle marks the point, line points to wind origin, short line is 5 kn, long line 10 kn, and a triangle 50 kn (up to 100 kn), with day/night colors. Prefer arrows? Switch back in Settings → Interface, separately for route wind and GFS wind; choice saved to your account. - GFS wind as icons (web): When enabled, wind barbs (or arrows) cover the map over animated wind, just like in the mobile app.

- Route risks: Before setting sail or during your voyage, check if you will pass any shipwrecks or face impending storms. - Route optimization now works offline: Download weather data and maps before departure, and Navig8 will work in any conditions. - Logbook export: Now supports exporting data to .gpx format as well. - Bug fixes: Resolved several GPS usage-related issues.

- Drag any waypoint: On the web drag a waypoint marker to a new position — edit mode no longer needs to be on. In the mobile app press and hold a waypoint until you feel a short vibration and drag it — no need to select it first. - Preview while dragging: Dashed legs to the neighbouring waypoints follow the marker, so you see where the route will go before you let go. - Routing around land after a move: If a leg to the moved waypoint would cross land or shallows, Navig8 now routes around it and adds adjustable waypoints, just as when you add a point (in the mobile app also with offline routing), instead of refusing the move.

Big offline update — Navig8 now works at sea without a connection. OFFLINE • Offline charts: Map menu → Manage maps. Download a region and get the chart, shallows, routing graph and seamarks on your device. • Offline routing on the same routing graph as online, for every signed-in account. • Route optimisation on the device, using the route weather you downloaded — no connection needed. • Route weather stays on the device until you fetch newer; a banner shows its age and coverage. • Clear messages when something needs the internet, instead of a generic "no connection". NAVIGATION • GPS recovers on its own after losing a fix; a stale position is marked on the location tile — tap to restart. • Course line to the screen edge with a dot every 10 minutes at your current SOG (Map menu → Map layers). • North-up / course-up compass button; the location tile turns blue while the map follows the boat. MAP • Reorganised Map menu with one "Manage maps" screen for charts and bathymetry. • Bathymetric maps stored as compact tiles: faster downloads, less memory, outdated regions refresh in the background. • Long-press reads the depth from the map. STABILITY • Fixed iOS crashes when opening Manage maps and after a download interrupted by losing the connection. • Lower memory use on iPad and older devices.
