Pinch, Zoom & Pan Precision: Smooth, true-to-touch 1:1 finger tracking when moving and cropping photos. On iOS 26, voice notes now use Apple’s latest on-device speech recognition for clearer, more accurate transcripts of your classroom observations. Recordings still stay on your device. On earlier iOS versions, transcription works as before.

Voice Assess now reliably processes video thumbnails in the background so you don't have to look at generic thumbnails for videos.

Fixed a bug when switching storage locations that would cause video icons to show as images and not be playable.

We've improved our backup and storage features! This update resolves an issue where videos wouldn't properly sync when switching between iCloud and Local storage or when restoring from a local snapshot.

Start with a media-first workflow: snap a photo or record a video first, then immediately record your voice observation over it. Voice Assess transcribes your voice on-device and links the media and transcript together automatically.

Optional AI note cleanup: tap to polish grammar, punctuation, and messy speech‑to‑text wording using your class roster for name accuracy — preview changes before saving, originals stay revertible. Cleanup runs 'on device' with Apple Intelligence where supported — note text isn’t sent to any servers for this step.

Version 1.1 adds iCloud sync across iPhone and iPad, a clearer iPad recording layout, quicker comma-separated roster import, and several reliability and navigation fixes.
