What's new in this version Dates and amounts in US and UK style When you use the app in English, amounts and dates now follow your phone's region. In the US you'll see $1,295 and 10/1/2026, in the UK £1,295 and 01/10/2026, and it works the same way in other English-speaking countries. This applies to the overview, payments and expenses, the property details, the reminder to your tenant, and the PDF reports and payment receipts. Until now English used one format for everyone, so an American would read 01.10.2026 as January 10. Correct currency in the annual PDF When you filter the annual report to a property in another currency, such as a euro property with USD as your home currency, the PDF no longer labels its totals with the home currency. Switching to the home currency shows the actual conversion. Formats in other languages stay the same, and saved records are unchanged.

What's new in this version Remind your tenant with one tap The app writes a polite message with the amount, the period and your payment details, and you send it as a message or an email. It attaches a payment QR code the tenant scans in their banking app, so nothing has to be typed over. The code format follows the account and the property's currency — it works in Slovakia, Czechia, across the eurozone and in Brazil. Where banks don't use such codes, the details go in the message as text. You enter the account in Settings, and every property can have its own. The app tells you when the rent hasn't arrived Until now it only flagged a payment you had marked unpaid yourself. Now it is enough that no payment is recorded after the due date — the alert shows up 1 to 14 days later, and several unpaid months are merged into one with a total. Alerts are tappable An overdue rent offers Add payment and Remind tenant, a lease ending opens the property, the monthly summary opens the annual report. A payment due tomorrow is yellow — not a problem yet. You can also add the payment straight from the alert on your phone, with the form prefilled. Reminders arrive on time They are scheduled ahead instead of waiting for you to open the app, and they are recalculated as soon as a payment or tenant changes. Pay the rent early and the reminder moves to next month. The deposit-return reminder works after an ordinary end of lease too, and everything is rescheduled after a restart. Decimals and the right dates Editing a payment of 750.90 no longer rounds it to 750, and the decimal separator can finally be typed. A payment received late stays in the month the money actually arrived, so the annual report and the tax PDF add up. Backups you can rely on Data export, backups and sharing reports work again on the newest system version. If a restore fails, everything goes back to how it was, photos and contracts included. A backup now also remembers manually entered exchange rates and which recurring expenses you deleted. Annual report and more An archived property stays in the years it was yours, so the breakdowns match the total. Premium you paid for is not lost even if the purchase can't be saved right away, and a weaker code no longer overwrites a better one. The top bar is frosted — content shows through it as you scroll.

We fixed a bug that kept the annual report from opening and left an empty screen instead. It affected everyone with at least one expense recorded in that year. Your income, expenses and yield now open every time.

What's new in this version Rento Pro A new plan for a bigger portfolio — up to 20 properties. You can switch to it right from the app, and your current Plus stays as it is. Two Spanish and two Portuguese varieties Español (España) and Español (Latinoamérica), Português (Brasil) and Português (Portugal) are now separate languages. The app follows your phone's language and you can switch it in Settings. A deposit, a report and an amount go by different words in different countries — the app now uses the one landlords there actually use. Every translation has been reviewed Each language went through a native speaker: number agreement, correct gender, consistent terminology. Spots where foreign text was left behind are fixed too, including the month names in the annual PDF. Reminders Reminder texts were rewritten and brought in line with the rest of the app. The deposit-return window is filled in from your own setting, so it matches when the reminder actually arrives. Safer backups A backup is protected by a password instead of a numeric code, with a strength meter. Encryption is optional — when the file never leaves your phone, you can save it without a password. Protection of an encrypted file is far stronger. Older backups still open. A failed import no longer wipes your data If a backup import fails halfway through, your records stay untouched. A more accurate annual overview A payment switched back to unpaid no longer counts towards income in the annual overview, the tax PDF or the export. Older records are corrected on the next launch. Small things Phone, email, a note or a lease end date can be cleared, not just overwritten. Switching tabs and the annual overview are noticeably faster, and photos ask for less memory. Dark mode and forms got a consistent look.

What's new in this version Payment receipt (Plus) For every payment you have collected you can create a PDF receipt with a number, the property, tenant and amount. Send it straight to your tenant. Recurring expenses Set an expense to repeat monthly or yearly. The next ones are added automatically, so you don't have to enter them over and over. Rent changes with history Schedule a new rent amount for an effective date, for example the first day of next month. The change applies on its own and the property detail keeps the full rent history. Rent review reminder (Plus) Rento reminds you of the lease anniversary so a rent review never slips by. Turn it on in Settings. Contract on the tenant (Plus) Attach the lease to the tenant as a photo or PDF and keep it always at hand. More reliable backup Your backup now also contains handover photos, receipts and contracts, meter readings and the rent history. Nothing is lost when you move to a new phone.
