WikiRacer: Wikipedia Game
Race from article to article
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Race through Wikipedia, one link at a time.
Start on one Wikipedia article and reach the target using only the links inside each page. No search bar, no shortcuts: just your knowledge, your instincts, and the clock. How fast can you get from Chess to Electricity? From Pizza to Ancient Egypt? From Albert Einstein to Jazz?
WikiRacer turns Wikipedia's 6 million+ articles into the world's biggest puzzle. Every race is different, every path is a surprise, and you'll learn something new every time you play.
HOW TO PLAY
• Get a start article and a target article
• Tap links to move from page to page
• Reach the target before time runs out, in as few pages as you can
• Not sure what the target is? Tap TARGET for a quick preview
GAME MODES
• Daily Challenge: a new start-and-target pair every day. Keep your streak alive and share your result with friends
• Timed: race the clock with 2, 5 or 10 minutes
• Pages: no timer, just the shortest path you can find
• Custom races: pick any two Wikipedia articles
• Challenge a Friend: win a race, then send a challenge code. Your friend plays the same pair and you compare paths head-to-head
TOOLS
• Back: took a wrong turn? Jump back to exactly where you were reading
• Find: search the current article to spot the link you need
• Visited links turn purple, so you always know where you've been
MORE TO LOVE
• Clean, readable articles with tappable links and a Liquid Glass design for iPhone and iPad
• Game history with the full path of every race
• Spoiler-free emoji results to share anywhere
• Streaks, stats and optional daily reminders
