Apiara is the modern beekeeper app for managing your bee colonies - designed for hobbyist beekeepers, club members, and professionals alike.
All your bees at a glance:
Manage your apiaries, hives, and queens in one place. Create as many apiaries as you need, assign hives, and keep track of your entire beekeeping operation.
Easy inspection documentation:
Record inspections with just one required field (date). Document brood status, queen presence, colony strength, temperament, and many more configurable fields. Attach photos, voice notes, and videos to capture your observations.
Treatments, feedings, and harvests:
Log all treatments (formic acid, oxalic acid, lactic acid, and more) with dosage and method. Record feedings and honey harvests including batch traceability for EU food labeling compliance.
Varroa monitoring:
Keep a varroa monitoring log with natural mite fall, alcohol wash, and sugar roll counts. Track the varroa trend of your colonies in clear charts and respond in time.
Queen tracking and breeding log:
Document age, breed, marking, and lineage of your queens. Maintain a breeding log with queen cells, hatching, mating, and line tracking.
QR codes for your hives:
Generate and print QR code labels for every hive. Scan the code at the apiary and jump directly to the hive - ideal when managing many colonies.
Weather-based recommendations:
Current weather is automatically recorded with every inspection. Receive recommendations for optimal inspection timing based on weather forecasts.
Treatment protocol as PDF:
Export compliant treatment protocols as PDF for veterinary authorities. Create hive reports and inspection reports for printing or archiving.
Works offline:
No signal at the apiary? Record your entries in the app without a connection; they are sent when the app has a connection again.
Synced across devices:
Use Apiara on your smartphone, tablet, and desktop. Your data is always up to date - no matter which device.
Senior-friendly:
Large touch targets, readable fonts, and a clean design make Apiara easy to use for beekeepers of all ages and tech levels.
Built with passion for beekeeping. Apiara - your digital companion at the apiary.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
New in this version:
• Treatments: duration, quantity with unit and “applied by”; product and withdrawal period are now required.
• The withdrawal period shows its end date.
• Pro: purchases with supplier, invoice photo and veterinarian – offline too, selectable on the treatment.
• Pro: the app shows which details a treatment is missing.
• The treatment protocol per hive (PDF) is available on every plan.
• Deletion: up to 24 hours after creation; after that, archived.
• Registering: you first confirm your email address with the link in the email and then sign in.
• Varroa, natural fall: you enter the mites counted and the days the board was in; the app works out the mites per day. For an alcohol wash or sugar roll you give the size of the sample.
• Videos can be watched in full screen, on a phone also by turning it to landscape.
• In the photo viewer the close cross and the counter are clearly visible on the dark background.
• Photos, videos and voice notes that could not be uploaded are shown on the inspection and the hive with the reason – try again or discard.
• Entries that still do not arrive after several attempts are listed with the reason under “Entries not sent”.
• When you bring the app back to the front, it starts syncing.
• If your Pro subscription or your video storage already runs through apiara.app or the other store, the app offers no second purchase and tells you where to manage the subscription.
Plus smaller improvements.
