Every account with its bank's logo and color With Premium, when you create or edit a bank account or a credit card, pick your bank with a search box and the app gives it its round logo and its color: BBVA in blue, Nu in purple, and so on for about 265 banks, fintechs and department stores in 14 countries: the United States, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Ecuador, Uruguay and Costa Rica. The logo shows on Home, in the pickers, in loans and on the account detail. If your account's name already matches a bank, the app suggests adding its logo with one tap. Logos ship inside the app: nothing is downloaded and it works offline. With Premium you can also pick a credit card's level —Classic, Gold, Platinum, Signature, World Elite, Infinite or Black— and the whole card takes its finish: gold or silver metal, graphite, copper, black with a gold shine, or black. The catalog includes department stores such as Liverpool, Sanborns, Suburbia, Walmart, Target, Magalu or Renner. Your credits, closer to reality If you paid ahead or paid outside the app, the three-dot menu on a credit has a new option, "Adjust balance": tell it how much you really owe and the app trims the remaining payments, without moving any account balance. Also, when you create a credit you can pick the card it comes from (a cash advance, for example). The card takes what you still owe on that credit out of its available credit and adds it to its debt; it comes back as you pay installments. Each credit also shows which card it belongs to. Also on credits: with fortnightly payments you can now pick the 30th (or the last day of the month) as the payment date, and the plan dates you see before saving are exactly the ones that get saved. A credit's menu now looks like the "+" one: a list of options with icon and description. And more fixes When choosing the account of a credit or confirming a pending entry, your vaults, sub-accounts and their coins no longer show up, and each account shows its own color. When confirming a payment, the date is now picked like when adding an entry (centered, with Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow), and a duplicated entry starts with today's date. And attaching a photo when confirming no longer pops the keyboard open on the amount. Your subscription, with its history Subscription has a new entry, "Purchase history": see every purchase, renewal and free trial of your Premium, with its date, plan and how long it is valid. Smoother and safer Saving an entry no longer stutters: it shows up instantly and the rest settles afterwards. On credit cards, a purchase made on the cut-off day now counts in a single statement, and month-plan purchases made on the 29th, 30th or 31st put each installment in its own month. On credits, the end date is now counted from the next installment and comes out right. We also tightened the security of purchases, shared loans and account deletion.

Sort your cards the way you like Next to the "Credit cards" title there's a new button to sort them: most debt on top and the freest last, the other way around, or in the order you registered them. You can also always put the card we suggest for today's purchase first. Your choice is saved in your account, so it stays even if you sign out or change phones. Pay card, always in line with your balance If your card said "No debt", the payment sheet could still show months with a balance due. Not anymore: what's left to pay in each period always adds up to what you really owe, and with a zero balance everything shows as paid. A better card to buy with today The card we suggest for today's purchase now takes your credit balance into account (it used to count as debt), prefers the one with more free credit when there's a tie, and ranks lower the one with an overdue, unpaid statement. And more fixes When you split a purchase, each part's concept suggests the ones you've used before and, when you tap one, picks its category. Editing an installment purchase on a card no longer creates extra "to confirm" payments. Cancelling or reactivating a pending entry shows up instantly, linking a contact who had already invited you connects right away, and quickly closing "New entry" no longer closes the app.

Refunds for purchases When something you bought is refunded, you can now record it without distorting your history. Open the expense and tap the refund button: pick the date the money came back —today, or the day it really was— and the account it landed in. The original purchase stays where it was, on its date and in its account, but appears dimmed in grey with a "Refunded" tag. On the refund date a new income appears, "Refund of: …", adding the money to the account you chose. So September's expense and October's refund each stay in their own month, and your earlier balances are untouched. Undo and jump between purchase and refund From a refunded purchase you can undo the refund in one tap —the credit is removed and the purchase is a normal expense again— or jump straight to the credit; and from the credit, jump to the original purchase. Deleting the purchase also deletes its refund, and deleting the credit reactivates the purchase. The amount of both is protected so your accounts never fall out of balance, and the "Refunded" tag now sits next to the amount. Pick a loan's account without leaving its summary If a loan was recorded without an account, tapping "No account assigned" no longer sends you to the edit screen: your accounts open as a list with their icon, color and balance. Tap one and the loan is assigned and the balance adjusted right away. Your loans, largest to smallest The list is now ordered by balance: at the top, the people who owe you the most; then those who owe you less, and at the end the people you owe. Settled accounts stay in their section below. If you leave Premium, nothing is lost If your plan goes back to free, whatever exceeds its limit —accounts, credit cards and your own categories— stays saved but is dimmed with a lock: it can't be picked for new entries or transfers. The first ones you created stay free, the same on all your devices. Your loans and credits remain visible in read-only mode —a credit's payments are shown, but confirming them is part of Premium—, and everything goes back to normal as soon as you return to Premium. What's pending, always in Today A repeated entry or a credit payment you didn't confirm no longer stays behind on the day it was due: it shows up in Today, with its confirm button at hand, until you confirm it. And when several fall on the same day, you get a single notification telling you how many and which ones, instead of one notification each.

Bugfixes

Your loans, easier to read Every entry now carries its sign: green and plus for money that came to you — what they lent you and what they paid you — and red and minus for money that left, just like your usual history. On the other person's phone the same entry reads exactly the other way around, because the opposite happened to them. And every entry says in words what it was — "You lent", "They lent you", "They paid", "You paid" — next to its date, without repeating the person's name: you're already inside their card. Its circle carries the initial of whoever put in the money, so at a glance you know which ones were yours and which were theirs. In the loans list, each person now shows their initial too. Buttons that say what they do The bottom no longer says "Collect": that sounded like sending the other person a bill, when all it does is record that they already paid you. Now they state the fact — "They paid me", "I paid them", "I lent", "They lent me" — and they change with the account: while there's a debt, the first one settles it; once you're all square, both offer to lend, one way or the other. So recording that someone lent you money again no longer means leaving for the add-transaction screen, and the form that opens is titled just like the button you tapped. "Settled account" only when it really is That badge showed on any payment, even with half the debt still open. Now it appears only when the account with that person is at zero, and the card closes it off with its own badge: "All square". Before, you only saw a grey zero there. The link you share talks about both of you The page someone without the app opens used to say "Owes you" and paint red what you lent: your reading, not the reader's. Now it names both — "Zoe owes Jesús" — every entry says whose money it was, with their initial beside it, and each person has their own color. Since that link gets forwarded, it now says the same thing whoever opens it. And also A loan in another currency shows what it adds to your balance on top and, small underneath, what you lent in its own currency — something that used to go unsaid. And opening a payment that had its own concept no longer announces it as a loan.

Your account, only on the phones you choose In Profile, under Passkeys, you now see every phone and tablet where your account is open: its system, its app version and when it was last used, with yours marked first. If you no longer use one or don't recognize it, you remove its access: it signs out as soon as it connects, stops getting your notifications and erases your information from it. And with a single button you sign out of all the others, even if they don't have the app open. Tap any of them to give it a name you recognize, like "Office iPad". The name stays even if you reinstall the app. Your vault, just like your crypto Tap a currency in your vault on the home screen and deposit or withdraw with the same menu as your crypto, with that currency already picked. You no longer need a cash account: money moves in and out of your bank or your cash. When withdrawing crypto or changing currency, today's rate fills in the amount, but if you got something else, you correct it and that is exactly what reaches your account, even if you switch accounts afterwards. And withdraw, buy and deposit now start with the last account you used. In Accounts, your vaults and crypto look just like on the home screen: one card per currency, and tapping it also lets you decide whether it counts toward your total. Clearer pockets Set aside and return look enabled whenever there is money to move, and only turn off when it doesn't fit. A pocket that reaches zero stays on the home screen, ready to use again, and its name and amount sit nicely centered. Deleting a pocket asks first and reminds you the money goes back to the account. Repeats on your schedule When editing a repeating transaction you now pick the day it starts, and dates follow its rhythm: twice a month only offers the 15th and the last day of each month, weekly the same weekday and monthly the same day each month. When you change it, anything still pending is removed and everything moves to the new day, without charging you twice in the same period, and before saving you see when the first entry will be. Your existing repeats stay as they are until you pick a day. And the screen looks like adding a transaction: the amount first with its calculator, the concept below and the account in its colors. And also Buying, withdrawing and transferring crypto no longer runs into the top of the screen while typing. Editing a vault or a wallet keeps whether it counts toward your total. The bolt on your linked loans shows in dark mode. And at Halloween your paid-off loans share the same scene as the active ones. And when signing in with Google or Apple, the button you tap keeps spinning with "Opening Google…" and tells you the window may take a few seconds, so there is no need to tap it again — and it opens sooner. The app also closes unexpectedly less often: a link it doesn't recognize no longer leaves a blank screen, and losing connection to your shared loans no longer closes it. When you share a loan, the link shows your transactions and their photos right away, and removing a transaction's photo really removes it.

Your passkey opens your data Switching phones was the awkward part: your entries are encrypted, and on the new one you had to type an eight-digit PIN emailed to you months earlier. Now you sign in with your face or fingerprint and everything is there, because the backup is protected by your own passkey. The PIN is no longer needed. Your data is still yours alone: the key that opens it never leaves your phone, and no one else can read it — we can't either. FlashBill now requires iOS 18 That is what your passkey needs to store the backup. If your iPhone stayed on iOS 17, the version you have keeps working with your data intact. Pick your style and your icon by seeing them The theme has its own screen: light, dark and your phone's, each with a preview. Right there you choose among six home screen icons; classic is for everyone and the rest are Premium. Clearer loans The buttons say what they do: Collect in green if they owe you, Pay in red if you owe, and Lend in blue always. Tapping an entry opens its summary with the amount, date and receipt photo, which now shows on the other person's side too. And settling what you borrowed in a shared book no longer asks for Premium. What you lend always arrives A loan recorded before the two accounts were connected, or after undoing and redoing the connection, could stay only on your phone. Now it reaches the other person's, payments included, without closing the app. And if you undo the connection with a contact, their card has the button to link them again. If the app crashes, we find out When something breaks, we get notified automatically with the screen you were on and the last things you tapped, so we can reproduce it and fix it. Your name, email and amounts never travel, and you can turn it off in Privacy and Data. Because of this change, the app asks you to accept the privacy notice again. Signing out leaves the phone clean Leaving an account removes its notifications, preferences and data copy from that phone, so a shared phone no longer gets the previous account's notifications. Your theme, language and currency stay as you left them. Your account is never left without a door Google, Apple and your passkey could all be removed, locking the account forever. Now the last one can't be removed, and you are told why. Credit cards, easier to enter Installments are picked with a wheel that vibrates on each number, amounts have a cap, and the card opens without jerking. Premium, in gold Activating your subscription is celebrated with a burst of stars, and the gold reaches the plus button and the Loans tab. Halloween in your loans and credit cards Your loans share a single scene with bats and a ghost, and your credit cards bring spiders dropping down their threads. And also When lending you find people you already have even without accents, and you add their email right there. The update notice reaches you even if you fell several versions behind. A contact's email can now be deleted. And the release notes read in full.

Your monthly payments, all together Rent, Netflix, the gym or your paycheck: the things that repeat every month used to be scattered across your history. Now you'll find them all together in Settings, under Recurring movements. There you can see how much each one costs, how often it's charged and when the next one is due. If something changes — the rent went up, you switched cards — edit it right there and it updates from the next payment on. What you've already paid stays exactly as it was. Cancelled a subscription? Swipe left to pause it. Signed up again? Swipe right and you're done. And if you don't want to see it anymore, you can delete it: your past payments stay in your history. Upcoming payments, on your home screen See at a glance what's coming up: today, tomorrow, in 4 days. Overdue payments show in red, and anything due today can be paid with one tap. Turn it on or off from Configure home. A history without payments from the future Before, paying this month's rent instantly added next month's, and it sat in your history as if it had already happened. Now each payment only shows up on its own day. Fall behind? Nothing gets lost If several months went by without you marking a payment as done, those months simply disappeared. Now you see all of them, each with its date, so you can catch up. Fixing a payment no longer messes up the rest Changing the amount of a payment you had already made could shift the next ones, duplicate them or make one disappear. Not anymore: you fix that payment and nothing else. And the app no longer asks whether you want to change "just this one or all of them". And also Add notes to what you lend, collect or pay. If someone shares their loans with you, you can see them without Premium. Save a contact's email to stay connected. Analysis now shows your income day by day too. Create a new category without leaving what you're entering. Your most-used accounts and categories come first. And with Premium, try the new Halloween theme.

Sign in with your face, without typing a thing You can now create a passkey from your profile and sign in to FlashBill with the same thing that unlocks your phone: your face or your fingerprint. No email, no waiting for a code and no password to remember. The passkey is kept on your phone and in your keychain, never on our servers: what stays on our side is the public half, which is no use for signing in anywhere. You can have several —your phone, your tablet—, see in your profile when each one was last used and remove them whenever you like. It is one more door, not a replacement: signing in with your email, with Google or with Apple works exactly as before. Your month, in your inbox When the month closes you get an email with how it went: what came in, what went out, what you had left, whether you spent more or less than last month, and the three categories where most of it went, each with its icon and its color, just as you see them in the app. Your phone works those numbers out. That isn't a technical detail: your movements travel encrypted and not even we can read them, so the only device able to add up your month is yours. No copy of the email is kept either: it is deleted from our servers as soon as it is delivered. It arrives switched on and goes off with one tap, from Preferences or from the email itself. A month with nothing logged isn't sent: a summary of zeros is worse than silence. Your watch, tuned up The crown now responds when you turn it slowly: setting an amount only moved the figure if you spun it fast, and taking it easy just buzzed at every notch without changing the number. Slow turns now count too, one step at a time. And your watch shows the whole figure: an expense of 6.78 read as 7 on your wrist and as 6.78 on your phone, and two different numbers for the same expense make you doubt both. On the watch face complication it stays rounded, which is where it genuinely doesn't fit. What you see logged on the watch is from the current month, the same month the totals above it are talking about. Entries from last month used to slip in under a total that only counted this one. Your reminders now speak plainly "You have 0 day(s) to pay your card" was arithmetic, not a reminder: you had to translate that zero before realising the payment was due that same day. Now your financial reminders say it in words —"Your card payment is due today", "Your card closes tomorrow"— and only count days when there really are several. It applies to all four: your card's closing date, your card payment, repeating expenses and your loan payments. And it is now clear what happens when you choose not to be told in advance: that option was called "No" and said no reminder would be sent, when what it does is send it on the day. It is now called "On the day" and says exactly that. Swiping now looks like it feels When you swiped a card to edit, delete or hide it, the colour behind it was a square block stuck to the edge, and the icon sat so far in that you had to swipe half the card to know what would happen. Now the colour grows with your finger, carries the same rounded corners as the card and the icon shows from the first centimetre. It works the same in your history, your accounts, your categories and your loans.

You decide which emails reach you In Preferences → Notifications there is now Emails: the monthly summary and the news and tips go on or off with a tap, and below, locked, are the ones that always arrive —your account's security, your subscription, the replies to your reports and legal notices—. They aren't advertising: they are about your money and your access. The ones that do carry their unsubscribe link at the foot of the email: it opens without a password and changes what you see inside the app too. What you chose to receive travels with you The reminder's time, the days, how far ahead you want to know about a statement or a payment and every switch stopped living only on this phone: they are saved to your account. Reinstalling the app or changing phones gives you back exactly what you had set. Notifications reads at a glance The screen is now laid out in cards. Daily reminders carry their switch in the header, with the time and the days below in the same card. Financial alerts group time, notice and switches. And price alerts stopped being split across two cards. Your watch now writes it down for you Pulling out your phone at the checkout is exactly what makes you forget the expense. FlashBill also lives on your Apple Watch: open it, tap Income or Expense, type the amount and pick the account and the category, with the same icons and colors you gave them on your phone. Dictate the concept or type it right there. Your accounts and categories reach the watch from your own phone, in your language and without going over the internet: from one of your devices to the other. If your phone isn't nearby the note isn't lost: it waits on the watch and lands on its own when the two see each other again, and isn't taken as done until the phone confirms it. You can put a widget on your watch face showing how your day is going: the ring split into two colors with both amounts beside it, or plus and minus buttons that open the app straight into Income or Expense. Your phone adds those numbers up, and the watch hides them while it is locked. Below the form you see today's movements, and your watch now shows up in Settings: whether it is ready, whether the app still needs installing and how many notes are waiting. Logging from your watch is included in Premium. Confirming without having to go back in Confirming a repeating movement happened in a tiny window, with the concept read-only and nowhere for the receipt. It is now the same window you use to log one: the big amount with its calculator, the concept ready to fix and the camera to attach the receipt on the spot. And next to Confirm there is now Cancel, which asks what to delete: that round, that one and the ones after it, or all of them. Repeating movements, without twins When a series was running late, the new round could be born with a date already past, so a pending movement appeared next to the one you had just confirmed. Now the new round always lands after today, and editing a confirmed movement no longer sends it back to pending. A transfer with a fee is one movement, not two You sent 500 with a 17.50 fee and the list showed two separate lines. Now it reads as it was paid —517.50— and says below how much of that was the fee, just like when you leave a tip. The fee still counts in its category. Your currencies and your crypto, each on its own card Every currency in your vaults and every crypto in your wallets now has its own card on the home screen, like your bank or your cash, and the one you don't want there you swipe away into the hidden ones. Tapping it opens what you actually do with crypto: buy it from your account or your card, withdraw it to the account you choose, or swap it for another —if you don't have it, it is created for you—. You write what goes out and what comes in, with today's price already filled in and editable, and log the fee. That is why logging a movement no longer offers crypto accounts, and what you logged before stays as it is.

What you already paid off is still there When a loan was settled it vanished from My loans, and with it the only way to look up its history. Now, at the end of the list, there is a centered strip reading "— Settled · 4 —", telling you up front how many there are: one tap opens it and every paid-off loan is there, with its full history. Paid bank credits get their own, and their card turns green so it stands out at a glance. The section starts closed and remembers how you left it, even if you sign out or reinstall the app. A shared loan receipt now shows on both sides When the other person recorded a payment on a shared debt and attached a photo of the receipt, that photo could not be seen: not in your app, and not on the shared link page, where it came up broken. The photo was locked with the key of whoever uploaded it, so there was no way to open it on the other side. Now, on loans with a linked contact, the receipt is stored so both sides can see it, and photos that were left unreadable repair themselves when the app opens. A movement from a contact no longer invents its account Opening the preview of a movement recorded by the other person showed it with an assigned account nobody had chosen —the first one on your list—. It now says plainly that it has no account yet, and tapping that same row lets you pick the right one without going back to the loans list. Repeating charges are written down once Confirming —or paying early— a movement that comes back every month left a pending copy next to it on the same day. The next round was counted from the day the series began instead of the date that was due, so it landed on top of what had just been recorded. Now the series really moves on, keeps the usual day of the month, and never lands on something already written down. One calendar The calendar that opens when you pick a date came up in the phone's factory colors and changed from screen to screen. Now it is the same everywhere, with the FlashBill look, in light and dark. History jumps straight to what you just recorded When you recorded a movement with a past date, history had to find it: it went all the way to your very first record and scrolled through months on screen, taking forever even when the movement was from today. It now works out where it is and jumps straight there, with no tour through your whole history. What you just confirmed stays on top Confirming a movement pushed it to the bottom of its day, as if it had been there all along. The day is now ordered by when each movement was recorded or confirmed, so the last thing you did is the first thing you see. History search closes by itself The search field stayed open until you tapped the magnifier again. Tapping outside it, scrolling the history or pressing Enter while it is empty now hides it; if something is typed, tapping outside only dismisses the keyboard and keeps what you are filtering.

A repeating expense is no longer logged twice When you confirmed one of those expenses that come back month after month, an identical copy showed up in the same list on the same day, waiting its turn: same name, same amount, same account. And if you then edited the movement you had just confirmed, the copy picked up the changes and both rows ended up identical, so editing looked like it duplicated too. What was happening is that the app worked out the date of the next charge from the date of the first one in the series, not from the one you had just confirmed. That date never moved forward, so every confirmation offered up the same day you had already paid. Now each charge keeps its own date and the next one is scheduled from it: the series moves on, keeps the usual day of the month, and confirming leaves a single pending charge, the one for the next round. Paying ahead of time does not push the series forward either. If a series had gone months without being confirmed, the pending charge it creates is no longer born overdue. The app skips ahead to the next date still to come, instead of chaining up late charges that read as copies. The door was closed from the other side too: confirming the same movement twice can no longer plant an extra pending charge, and the check that prevents duplicates now recognises siblings from the same series even when their dates are out of step, as well as charges already recorded. Any duplicates already written down are deleted from the history like any other movement; the app touches nothing of yours on its own. A repeating payment is confirmed only once When you paid something monthly ahead of time —confirming it before its date and tweaking the amount— the app recorded the movement and also left another one pending, dated today: the same charge twice, one recorded and one waiting to be confirmed. It happened because the next repetition was counted from the day the series began instead of the date that was due, so the result landed on top of what had just been recorded. Now the next round is counted from the date that payment had marked, keeps the usual day of the month, and never lands on a movement that is already written down. If a pending copy is already there, you can delete it by swiping it away. Notices, in your language FlashBill speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, but the notices that reached your phone always came in Spanish, whatever language you had the app in. Now every device says which language it is in, and the notice is sent in that one: if your FlashBill is in English, the notice arrives in English. It covers everything we tell you about —a new poll, the reply to a report, a loan someone wrote down, a sharp move in a crypto you follow— and polls too, which now read in your language inside the app. Change the language in Preferences and the next notice already arrives in the new one. Nothing to set up. A notice you can read in full The lock screen cuts off whatever does not fit, so a long notice was left half told. Now, when you tap it, the app opens the full message: the summary stays short so you can take it in at a glance, and the detail is inside for whoever wants more. Your Premium does not switch accounts unless you say so The store keeps your subscription tied to the phone, not to your FlashBill account. So if someone signed in with a different account on a phone that already had Premium, the store handed the subscription back and the app took it at face value: Premium moved and whoever paid for it was left without it. Now the app says so plainly and waits: you can leave things as they are, or tap "Use on this account" knowing the other one loses Premium. Either way there is no new charge, because it is the same subscription. What you write down stays written down A security change on the server ended up quietly rejecting everything the app tried to save: the expense showed up in the list, but it vanished on the next reload. That is fixed, and now, when a save cannot be completed, the app tells you right away instead of letting the movement appear and disappear on its own. A block that explains itself An account used against the Terms of Use can be blocked. When that happens the app shows the written reason and the email address to write to in order to sort it out or ask for a copy of your data, and touches nothing you have saved.

FlashBill looks the way it should on an iPad Until now the app was drawn on a tablet exactly like on a phone: tiny type, buttons lost in the middle of a huge canvas and the tabs stuck to the farthest corners. This version starts fixing that at the root. Text, icons, images and spacing all grow by a third, and content stops stretching edge to edge: it is centered at a width that is comfortable to read, like a magazine. It is already in place on sign-in, on the welcome tour, on the navigation bar with its center button, and on the add-a-transaction screen, the largest one in the app: there the form is centered, the save button no longer overlaps the advanced options, and the currency flags, the calculator and the account shortcuts grow along with everything else. The remaining screens follow in the next versions. A section with nothing to say now stays quiet If you are just starting out with FlashBill, the home showed a subscriptions box only to tell you there were none. That section now appears the day we actually find an expense that repeats on its own. A monthly charge is recognized for what it is To decide how often an expense repeats, the app used to require every date to fall inside a narrow window. One skipped month, one month charged twice or a charge that slipped by a week was enough to drop the whole subscription off the list. Now the whole pattern is weighed: an odd gap is forgiven and the cadence is the one that best explains all the dates. What you said was not a subscription stays dismissed Dismissing a suggestion was saved on the phone alone, so reinstalling the app offered you again what you had already turned down. That decision now travels with your account, and Customize home has a button to restore dismissed suggestions. A crypto balance no longer goes back to what it was You moved money out of a coin, the balance went down correctly, and later the previous amount was back. The decimal cleanup the app runs on launch rewrote the balance stored on the phone before catching up with the cloud. It now waits for the sync and saves only the difference, so it cannot overwrite fresher data. The yearly plan price always shows If the yearly plan came with free days, the store first reports the price of those days —which is zero— and the app was stuck saying "checking price" forever. The price of the charge that actually happens is now used. Canceling a purchase no longer leaves the button spinning If you opened the payment sheet and left without buying, the app never learned that the purchase had ended. A canceled purchase is now always recognized and the buttons are ready again right away. And under the hood: Premium that has expired now switches itself off, with three days of grace in case your renewal takes a while to confirm. If you are paid up, nothing changes for you.

Your account balances add up again When you deleted or corrected a movement, the balance was really fixed but your phone kept showing the previous number, and on another device it could stay that way for good. Worse: going in to change that account's name, color or icon froze the old number. If you ever saw an account with too much or too little and couldn't find the movement to blame, this was it. Not anymore — and deleting a loan that carried a fee now gives that fee back too. What sits at zero gets out of the way A coin you sold off entirely or an envelope you emptied still took up its row on the home with a zero next to it. Now they drop out of the list and come back on their own as soon as they hold something again; nothing is deleted, they stay on the account screen for whenever you want them. Vaults and crypto read as one piece The background artwork on those cards was cut off right where the coin list began, and the card read as two pieces glued together. Now it runs across the whole card. Your crypto account remembers If you keep several coins in the same exchange, recording a movement always started on the first one in the list and you had to change it by hand every time. Now it offers the one you used last in that account. And the transfer reads in the order you think it: where it comes from, how much leaves, which account it reaches and how much arrives, with "Swap direction" to flip both sides without leaving the screen. Alerts reach your iPhone again The alerts FlashBill sends were not arriving on any iPhone. They now arrive just like on Android, and tapping one opens it inside the app with the full message and whatever buttons it carries.

Recurring charges, on their day and only once An expense set to repeat logged the next charge on the wrong day: if you confirmed this month's on the 11th instead of the 1st, next month's slid to the 11th, and the one after that slid again. The day now comes from the scheduled charge, not from the day you confirmed it, so the series stays where it belongs. And it is no longer logged twice. The check that prevented duplicates only worked if the charge fell on exactly the same day; if it was a few days off, a second identical charge was created. Now both are recognised as the same one even when the dates don't match — sharing the merchant and the account is enough. What hasn't been charged yet looks like it A pending charge that was already due showed up with today's date and no mark at all: it read exactly like an expense already paid. Now it appears on its real day, says "pending" next to its account, and comes with its button to confirm it, correcting the amount and the date if needed. Detected subscriptions that actually listen Dismissing a suggestion didn't get you far: restarting the app brought the same one back, and if the charge showed up on another card, back again. Now dismissed means dismissed, each account keeps its own list, and there's a button to bring back what you dismissed. The detector also recognises more: a month charged higher than usual — or not charged at all — no longer breaks the whole pattern, and the card stays on your home saying it found nothing instead of vanishing with no explanation. Details Tips are typed into the same large centred field as a regular transaction, and it now says where the money came from. When recording an expense, the account comes before the concept. The advanced-options switches all look alike, and the note capitalises like the concept does. How you leave your home arranged — which cards you see, in what order, which ones you switch off — is saved for each account, so two people on the same phone no longer overwrite each other. What's New, finally in your language All 204 versions of the history have been written out one by one in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and the app shows you the one matching the language you have set. The same goes for the website: flashbill.app/novedades, /news and /novidades are three real pages, each in its own language.

Everything that changed since last time This version brings together several weeks of work. Three big new things, and a lot of fixes. VAULTS A vault keeps cash in several currencies at once: pesos, dollars and euros in the same place, each with its own balance and flag. Putting money in and taking it out uses the same button as always, and if you keep more than one currency there, taking money out asks which one it comes from. You can also register money that was already there and the app did not know about. CRYPTO You write down what you hold and the app adds today's price. Each coin brings its logo, each amount respects the decimals that asset really has, and if a coin you hold moves sharply we tell you: the alert carries the percentage, and the amount in your currency appears when you open the app. Wallets and exchanges are picked from a list, with their logos too. POCKETS AND SAVINGS GOALS A pocket sets part of an account aside without taking it out, and you decide whether it counts in your total. A goal hooks onto a pocket or a vault, so its progress is the money that is really there: it is never typed in by hand, so it can never drift out of sync. CURRENCIES THAT FINALLY ADD UP Each currency carries its own exchange rate and conversions run in the right direction. Moving money from one currency to another shows what arrives in its own field, with the logo of what arrives beside it: that logo is what you tap to change it, and you can correct the amount by hand when the exchange gave you something else. A second price source was added for the currencies the previous one did not cover, so the Colombian peso or the quetzal are now worth what they are worth, not one to one. A HISTORY THAT FLIES It no longer tries to paint every transaction since day one at once: it loads the most recent months and offers the earlier ones when you reach the end. Pull down to refresh always responds, even with little on screen, and if there is no internet we tell you instead of leaving you guessing. YOUR HOME, YOUR WAY You can hide an account from home and recover one you deleted. Vaults and crypto have their own section, and your totals count what you set aside and what you store. PRIVACY There is a second switch, in plain sight from the welcome screens and in Preferences. We count times, never what of: no amounts, no descriptions, no accounts, no categories. Turning it off does not just stop the sending, it also erases whatever was pending. The privacy notice was updated to say so. And on the free plan, the account is used on one device. Switching phones is still one tap.

Usage statistics, with its switch in plain sight FlashBill has never connected to your bank and it never will. This version adds one thing, and it adds it by showing it to you. NEW USAGE STATISTICS SWITCH It is in three places: the welcome screen, Preferences → Privacy, and the notice that appears when the legal documents change. It arrives on and you turn it off with one tap, just like the crash reports switch. WE COUNT TIMES, NEVER OF WHAT How many transactions you record, in total and on each of the last fourteen days. When the first one was and when the last one was. How many accounts you have set up. When you finished the welcome flow. And a yes or a no for each feature you have ever used: loans, installment purchases, receipts, transfers, recurring transactions, tips and more than one currency. Not one amount. Not one description. Not one category. Not the name of an account or a person. Not the content of a receipt. This is not a loose promise: the code that keeps the count never receives anything you type, so there is no way for it to slip through. TURNING IT OFF DELETES, IT DOES NOT JUST STOP A switch that only halts what comes next leaves you with no way to take back what you already gave. This one removes from our servers everything that had been stored, the moment you turn it off. UPDATED PRIVACY NOTICE It says exactly what is counted and what is not, item by item. Because the document changed, the app will ask you to accept it again: it is the only way for nobody to find out by accident. YOUR PROFILE NO LONGER GOES WITHOUT A NAME If you signed in with Apple and your profile came up blank, it now fills in by itself, without asking you anything. If you prefer another one, you can change it whenever you want from your Profile.
