Claudelog is a native macOS app that turns your Claude CLI session history into a clean, searchable conversation viewer. Every tool call, code edit, bash command, and AI response is rendered exactly as you'd expect — not as raw JSON.
BROWSE YOUR HISTORY
All your Claude projects and sessions are organized in a clean three-column layout. Switch between projects, see when each conversation happened, and jump to any session with a single click. Sessions are grouped by recency so the most relevant ones are always at the top.
POWERFUL SEARCH
Find any conversation instantly. Claudelog searches session titles, working directories, and git branches as you type. If nothing matches, full content search automatically scans through every message across all your sessions — so nothing ever gets lost.
BEAUTIFUL RENDERING
No more squinting at raw JSON. Claudelog renders:
• Bash commands as syntax-highlighted code blocks
• File edits as color-coded diffs — green additions, red removals
• Written files with their path and full content
• Markdown with proper formatting, including tables and code
• Claude's thinking blocks, collapsible to keep things tidy
• Tool results grouped and collapsed by default
FIND IN CONVERSATION
Press ⌘F to search within any open session. Matching messages are highlighted and you can jump between results with ⌘G — just like in your browser.

Claude CLI slash commands are shown as clean, readable chips — not walls of command metadata.

Claudelog reads directly from your local ~/.claude/projects folder. No account, no sync, no configuration. Open the app and your entire Claude history is already there, organized by project with git branch and timestamp context for every session.
