Complete redesign

New guided trigger setup: a step-by-step walkthrough shows you how to add the Lifeline control to Control Center and map your Action Button, with animations of each step Test It Out page: after setup, practice both triggers with on-screen pointers showing exactly where each one lives — safe to try before any contacts are connected Trusted contact confirmation: alerts and SafeWalk links are only ever sent to contacts who have confirmed they want to be your emergency contact Software check: the Control Center setup page now tells you if your iPhone is ready for this trigger or needs an iOS update Tap the location card on the home screen to refresh your position instantly Clearer sign-up: the app now catches mistyped emails and access codes as you type Better feedback when a trigger is pressed before setup is finished Bug fixes and reliability improvements

New Control Center SOS button — add Lifeline to Control Center and send a silent SOS with one press, without opening the app Private confirmation the moment your alert is delivered Redesigned trigger setup — a single Discreet Trigger Setup guide for Control Center and your Action Button Onboarding now takes you straight to adding your emergency contacts Alerts now include your real battery level and an accurate timestamp Improved location accuracy in alerts Your access code is now verified during setup so alerts always route correctly Bug fixes and reliability improvements

New Trigger: press the Lifeline button in Control Center to send an SOS silently — the app never opens and nothing shows on screen, so you can call for help discreetly. You'll get a confirmation notification the moment your alert goes out, so you always know help is on the way. The Lifeline access code is now required during setup, so every account is properly linked from day one. Improved location accuracy on alerts and general reliability fixes.

• Live location trail during SOS — responders see your movement in real time • Fixed account linking for new users • Security hardening and design polish

Live Location Trail — During an SOS, your phone now shares its location every 20 seconds so responders can see your path in real time, not just where you started. Sharing stops automatically when your alert is resolved, or after 30 minutes. Safety Readiness Check — The home screen now warns you if SOS isn't fully armed (location or notification permissions missing) and takes you straight to the fix. Stronger Security — All alert and check-in channels are now locked with private keys end to end. Refreshed Design — The organization picker and other screens have been polished to match the app's new look.
