Boat Care 2.0 is a fresh look for every boat and every season. • A redesigned dashboard shows engine hours, fuel burn, cost per engine hour, spending, and upcoming maintenance at a glance. • Refined layouts for iPhone and iPad, with new support for iPhone Duo. • Add a boat with its current engine hours, and log fuel, service, and parts with clearer forms. • Keep favorite providers close, import them from Contacts, and see every visit. • Adjust spare-parts stock with a swipe, and reorder care products with Buy Again. • Reminders show how close each service is, and checklist items can hold notes. • Automatic backups to your iPhone, iCloud Drive, or a folder you choose. • More accurate fuel-burn averages and more complete backups. Everything you've already logged comes along.

BoatCare Alerts Opt in to occasional BoatCare news and feature announcements, with a separate choice from your maintenance reminders. Alerts & Permissions Find the new screen under Settings > Notifications to manage BoatCare Alerts and check your iOS notification permissions. Turning BoatCare Alerts off leaves your maintenance reminders enabled.

True Burn Edition A round of honest math, sharper history, and the small fixes that quietly tidy up a long season of logging. Lifetime fuel burn, calculated honestly The average GPH on your dashboard now uses total gallons divided by total hours across every fill — the way you'd actually work it out on the back of a receipt. The old way took the simple mean of each fill's rate, which let a short top-off skew the number the same as a long cruise. Thirty hours, twenty gallons, three fills? The answer is 0.66 — not 0.75 — and the tile finally agrees. Fuel entries you can actually edit Tap the pencil on any fuel entry to reopen it, fix a typo'd price, adjust the location, hit Update — the sheet closes itself like it always should have. There's a Save button on the keyboard accessory bar now, so you don't have to dismiss the keys first. Marinas, looked up properly Type "Yarrow Bay" in the location field on a new fuel entry and you'll get Apple Maps suggestions plus a Recents list of marinas you've fueled at before. Pick one and the latitude and longitude come along for the ride. History, decluttered Adding a part to the shelf no longer pretends to be a history event. Map pins at the same dock now stack into a single cluster with a count badge — tap it to see every visit at that spot. Tap the Engine Hours summary to toggle between the range total ("100 hrs") and the latest reading ("512"), with an animated number transition. Bigger fonts on the summary tiles. The redundant part number crowding the row name is gone — it's already on its own line. Engine hours, no more silent rounding Logging a service or part used at 412.6 engine hours used to land quietly at 412.0 because the decimal wheel never wrote its value back to the field. Fixed at the source. Care Products with UPCs Boat Care products got their own SKU/UPC field and a barcode scanner button to match the Parts editor. Two new categories: Gel Coat, and Adhesives & Sealers. Drag, drop, paste Long-press a photo in Safari and drag it onto a Part's photo well to drop it in. Or paste from the clipboard — the same option that's been on Care Products is now on Parts too. Reorder, one tap Parts and Care Products both get a green Reorder cart button next to Share whenever you've saved a purchase URL. No URL? It falls back to an Amazon UPC search. Neither? The button hides itself. Show Installed, when you want it The Parts screen now hides installed parts by default — they live in each boat's service history where they belong. Need to look one up to reorder? Flip the Show Installed toggle and it remembers your choice. Plus the usual rigging: no autocorrect mauling your part numbers, and a tidier purchase row on Parts. Anchor's up.

What's New in 1.0.5 Hailing All Stations Edition More radios on board, sharper eyes on the barcode reader, and a tidier locker for your parts and gear. The kind of update that quietly makes the rest of your season smoother. Multi-radio support, the way the FCC always meant it You can finally log every radio on the boat — the fixed-mount at the helm, the handheld in the cockpit, the remote mic at the second station. Each one gets its own call sign, MMSI, DSC, and GPS settings, because Coast Guard rules say two radios can't share an MMSI. Existing call signs and MMSI numbers migrate over to a "Primary" radio automatically on first launch — nothing to re-enter. The barcode scanner that doesn't give up Wrinkled bag in the way? Glare from a sunny dock? Quiet-zone half-eaten by a price sticker? Boat Care now auto-straightens the label with the same perspective-correction Apple uses in document scans, and if the bars still won't decode, it reads the printed UPC digits underneath as a fallback. Real-world parts win over textbook-perfect labels every time. Parts, decluttered Installed parts now live where they belong — in each boat's service history — so the Parts screen is a clean inventory of what's actually on your shelf. Bigger fonts, the part number on its own line, the boat tagged underneath ("For Sea Hawk"), and a centered quantity pill that turns red when you're running low. Boat Care section, renamed and tightened The Settings tab is now "More," because it's been doing more than settings for a while. Parts and Products live together under a clean "Boat Care" heading. Filter chips read at full size. Search bars no longer flicker over the page on the way in. Fuel entry, fixed Typing "4." in the price field used to round-trip to "4.000" before you could finish typing "4.65" — the auto-calc was helping itself. Tamed. The Save button now also lives in the keyboard accessory bar, so you can stash an entry without dismissing the keys first. Small-craft polish • Tap or long-press a part number to copy it to the clipboard — quick paste into West Marine search • Part detail view: full-width 16:9 photo banner that taps to fullscreen • Fixed an "Invalid frame dimension" warning when running two boats in split view • Settings tab is now "More" with the iOS-standard ellipsis icon Anchor's up. Fair winds, and easier scanning.

What's New in 1.0.4 Reminders, where you actually look Your maintenance reminders now sync to Apple's Reminders app — so "oil change due at 250 hrs" sits alongside your grocery list and gym days, instead of waiting quietly belowdecks. Lifelines from the bridge of your iPhone straight to the engine room. Tap the row, log the run Hit a reminder's action row and you land directly in the engine-hours entry — no hunting for the right button. The whole row is now tappable, the way it always wanted to be. Pickers that don't fight you Spin the wheel to enter hours or gallons, then scroll the form past it — and the wheel stays put. No more accidental zero-counts when your finger drifts. Small thing, big difference. CSV that round-trips Export your data to a spreadsheet, edit a row in Numbers or Excel, bring it right back — existing entries update in place, new rows get added to the log. Your data, your way, no double-entries cluttering the deck. Install it, open the app — and Boat Care minds the watch.

What's New in 1.0.3 All Hands On Deck Edition We rebuilt a few things below the waterline this round. Nothing flashy — just the kind of fixes that make day-to-day life on the boat smoother. Photos sync everywhere now Your service contact headshots, parts photos, fuel pump shots, receipts, and boat care product pics now sync across all your iCloud devices the way the boat photo always has. Some of these were quietly slipping into Davy Jones's locker on the way to the cloud — fished them out, dried them off, and rebuilt the rigging. Existing photos move themselves to the new system automatically on first launch. Restore brings the whole crew back Backup and restore now carry every photo home — contacts, parts, products, receipts, the works. Re-importing the same backup updates existing records instead of cluttering the deck with duplicates. Photos on a fresh device come back exactly as you left them. Boat overview, polished The dashboard now leads with your home port and slip number — front and center where it matters. Empty sections (registration, memberships, engines) just don't show up if they're empty, instead of cluttering the page with "no data" placeholders. Plus, sailors with iPad get a hero image that's twice as tall — your boat deserves the bigger frame. Squashed a few barnacles • Fixed a sneaky alignment crash when extracting older backup files on newer iOS • Fixed a crash when the boat list peeked at deleted records mid-restore • Fixed the iOS 26 share sheet showing up blank after CSV export — share away • "Clear All Data" now properly nukes your iCloud copy too — no zombie records lingering offshore Polished the brightwork and ready to push off • Toggles throughout the app now wear our signature teal — no more rogue system green • Two-boat split view supports drag-to-reorder in edit mode • Sold boats no longer have a stray rounded corner peeking out at the top of their section • Round-trip CSV import — export your boat data, edit in a spreadsheet, bring it right back No setup, no re-import, no fuss. Install it, open the app, and your photo locker organizes itself.

What's New in 1.0.2 Smooth Sailing Edition We've been busy in the engine room. This update is all about the stuff that should "just work" — finally working. iCloud sync, finally watertight Your boat photos, receipts, and parts now sync across every device on your iCloud account like they were supposed to all along. Previously some photos were jumping ship between iPhone and iPad. Patched the hull. They sail together now. Backup & Restore, properly battened down Restoring a backup brings everything back — every photo, every record, every detail. Restored twice by accident? No worries — we now match records by ID so you won't end up with a fleet of duplicates. Cleared all your data? It actually clears your iCloud copy too, the way it always should have. Squashed a few barnacles • Fixed a crash when restoring backups • Fixed a crash when viewing the boat list mid-restore • Cancelling a share sheet after backup no longer pretends everything saved Polished the brightwork and ready to push off... Welcome aboard. No setup, no re-import, no fuss — just install and you're back at the helm.

What's New in 1.0.1 Boat Care now flexes for sailors, dinghy owners, and casual boaters who don't want to fuss with engine hours every fill-up — plus a couple of additions for the recurring-cost crowd. • Optional engine-hour tracking. New per-boat toggle in Edit Boat → Dimensions & Capacity. Turn it off for sailboats, tenders, or any boat where you'd rather just log fuel and move on. The Engine Hours field disappears from the fuel form, the dashboard hides the GPH stat (and shows your average price-per-gallon instead), and the consumption chart steps aside. • New Recurring / Fees service category. Track moorage, winter storage, and liveaboard fees as standard service entries — no separate UI to learn. They flow through History, Charts, and total cost reporting just like any other service. • Smarter widget. The home-screen widget now matches your tracking preference. Boats with hour tracking off see Fuel and Service spend instead of Hours and GPH. • Backup/restore covers everything. Both new features survive a full backup round-trip, with backward compatibility for backups created in 1.0. Quiet changes under the hood: the widget snapshot format gained a tracking flag, and the consumption chart auto-falls back to Costs when hours aren't available.
