EML Viewer: Open Email & PEC
Read .eml files, export to PDF
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Open and read .eml files and Italian PEC receipts on your iPhone, attachments and PDF included. Everything stays on your device: no uploads, no account.
EML Viewer is the simplest way to open and read .eml email files on iPhone and iPad.
Got an email file as an attachment on WhatsApp, Telegram or by email? iPhone can't open it properly. EML Viewer fixes that: open the file, read the message, save the attachments. All in one tap.
NOTE: the app interface is currently in Italian. More languages are coming.
KEY FEATURES
• Open .eml files — See the full email with sender, recipient, subject, date and message body
• HTML body — The message is shown just like the original email, with formatting and images
• Attachments — Open and save every attachment (PDF, images, documents)
• PEC (Italian certified email) — Automatic recognition of PEC receipts: acceptance, delivery, error. Shows the legal timestamp and certification details
• Export to PDF — Turn the email into a clean PDF document, ready to archive
HOW IT WORKS
1. Receive a .eml file (via WhatsApp, email, Files, AirDrop)
2. Tap Open with EML Viewer
3. Read the email in a clear, readable layout
4. Save the attachments or export to PDF
PEC — ITALIAN CERTIFIED EMAIL
EML Viewer recognizes Italian PEC messages automatically. When you open a PEC receipt, the app shows:
- Receipt type (acceptance, delivery, error)
- PEC sender and recipient
- Legal timestamp of the certification
- Reference to the original message
Useful for lawyers, accountants and professionals who handle PEC every day.
