Skin Picking & Hair Pulling
Free · In‑App Purchases
See the pattern behind nail biting, skin picking or hair pulling: the hours, feelings and triggers that come before it. One tap to log
Anxora is a fast, private tracker for BFRBs like nail biting, skin picking, and hair pulling. No account, no login, no sign-up.
Notice the urge, tap once, done in under 10 seconds. Add triggers, feelings, or a note later, or skip.
• Fast logging in seconds, calendar heat map, and analytics
• Progress photos: private, end-to-end encrypted, never in your photo library
• Ride out the urge with Anxiety Waves, fidget mini-games, and guided breathing
• Apple Watch and Apple Health support, with private iCloud sync
• App Lock with Face ID, free for everyone
• One-time purchase adds multiple habits, a PDF report for your therapist, and Family Sharing
Inspired by Habit Reversal Training (HRT). Not a replacement for professional help, but it makes therapy sessions more productive with real data.
more • Lessons on the Steps tab: fourteen one-minute reads on how these habits work and what helps. The next one opens when you finish the one before.
• Steps is simpler: your lessons, photos and one progress card.
• Planned sessions: pick a time and days, and an awareness session starts by itself. Up to three, part of the one-time purchase.
• Entries in a row: when entries come close together, the "What to do now" card shows how many. Analytics gets a "Tense hours" card, and the old chat is gone.
• After "Held off", the note on Home says which urge of the week it was.
• Pimple Pop has a new kind: a pimple with an ingrown hair. Squeeze it, then take the hair by its end and pull it out. The panel at the top folds down to a row of dots and opens again with a tap.

• Two buttons on Home: "It happened" and "Held off". Tap one, add what was around it if you like, and save.
• Two times on Home, side by side: since the last action and since the last urge you held off. One never resets the other.
• A day when you only held off urges counts as a free day.
• Tap the day's tally to see the day hour by hour, with every entry listed under the line.
• Apple Watch: the same two buttons and both times. A tap on the complication asks which of the two it was.
• Anxora is now in Spanish: the whole app, the Apple Watch and notifications.
• Nail File: a new game in Practice. A hand of five bitten nails that you file smooth and buff to a shine, with three tools to pick from.
• Pimple Pop: five kinds of pimple, and each feels different under your fingers. A squeezed one heals in half a minute, and blackheads are counted on their own line.
• A "Where to start" card on Home for your first entries.
• The Face ID lock is free for everyone. Turn it on in Settings.
6.3 Oct 11
• After an episode: once you log one, a card appears with three things you can do right away, like breathing, a game or a glass of water. Swipe it left when you don't need it. You can change the order in Settings.
• Bubble Wrap: now a bright silicone pop toy. Domes snap in under your finger, a finished side flips over in new colours, and "Follow the light" sets a slow breathing pace.
• Glue Peel: a new game in Practice. Dried glue on a palm that you pick at the edge and peel off slowly, in one piece if you can.
• Tweezers: another new game. Grab a hair with two fingers and pull it out with the root.
• Pimple Pop: the skin is firmer and springier, and the game now shows that you can drag it to find the rest.
6.2 Oct 10
• Apple Watch: run the awareness session from your wrist and answer check-ins there. The Watch also shows the time since the last episode.
• PDF report for a therapist: pick a habit and a period and get a print-friendly summary. Part of the one-time unlock.
• Urges you held off are now marked separately. Counts, colors and the time since the last episode follow only the times you acted.
• Pimple Pop: ripe pimples now burst with a splash.
• Every sheet closes with the same button at the top right.
6.1 Oct 3
• Awareness session: quiet check-ins every few minutes for a hard stretch. Answer with one tap from the Lock Screen.
• Practice replaces Relaxation: the session on top, games and breathing below.
• Past sessions are listed on Practice and marked in the calendar.
• Pimple Pop: a close-up of skin with 3 to 10 pimples. Find them and squeeze with two fingers, with vibration.
• Practice, Calendar and Analytics now have the habit picker at the top, like Home.
6.0 Oct 1
• Analytics: browse past weeks with the arrows, a swipe or the week picker.

• Various fixes and refinements.
3.2 Aug 6
• Reorder your feelings and triggers — drag them into the order that suits you, or sort by how often you use them.
• Apple Watch: logging is simpler now — a single confirm button, with clear haptic feedback when an entry is saved.
• Fixed an issue where hidden feelings or triggers could reappear after restarting the app.
• Cleaner layout on the log form, so more items fit in each row.
3.1 Jul 18
• New Home: your day at a glance. A 24-hour strip shows today’s episodes and time since the last one, with a 7-day row below.
• Free days, gently handled. When a recent day has no entries, the app quietly asks whether it was free of the habit or just unlogged — no streaks, no pressure. Confirmed free days show up in the calendar.
Fixes:
• Isolated empty days are now offered for review, not just unbroken gaps.
• Days before your first entry no longer count as “free” or as a clean streak.
• Analytics cards now line up correctly.
3.0 Jul 15
• Send feedback — you can now reach us right from Settings › Support to report a bug or share an idea.
• Guided breathing during an anxiety wave now follows the technique and number of cycles you picked in Settings.
• Fixed an issue where the “Add habit” screen could close on its own right after opening.
2.2 Jul 12
• iCloud sync is now always on — your data stays backed up and in sync across devices automatically. Duplicate feelings, triggers, and habits from merges are cleaned up for you.
• Add feelings and triggers on the fly with a new "+" chip right in the logging form.
• The HRV chart in Analytics now overlays your daily episode count, so you can spot patterns at a glance.
• Delete a habit with a swipe in Settings.
• Various fixes and polish for a smoother, more reliable experience.
