Share straight from the Photos app – and detection you tune per project. STRAIGHT FROM THE PHOTOS APP Select up to 20 photos or a video in the Photos app, tap "Share" and choose Redact. The app opens and finds every face right away. Pass finished pictures on with the new Share button – Instagram and WhatsApp now reliably show up in the list. Several photos at once are part of Redact Pro. CROWDS? LOWER THE CONFIDENCE Tap the dial in the editor to set how sure Redact must be – just for this project. Lower it to catch small faces in crowds too, then tap "Detect again". Boxes and tracks you drew yourself are kept. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • You can feel it: your iPhone gives a short haptic tap when detection finishes, an export completes or something goes wrong. • The confidence slider is now in the Help screen too, right next to "Detect again". • Missing translations added in several app languages. Detection, anonymization and export still run entirely on your device.

Everyone at a glance – and a whole zoo of stickers. EVERYONE AT A GLANCE The new people strip runs the full width of the photo editor. Every detected person sits side by side: tap a face to adjust just that person. A WHOLE ZOO OF STICKERS 19 new animal faces, from bear to penguin – each person in the picture gets their own. All stickers now fit snugly over the face, and ears and antlers can reach past the edge. The "Animals" pack is part of Redact Pro. WHY REDACT IS DIFFERENT A new comparison in Settings shows side by side how Redact treats your pictures and how typical cloud apps do. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Short clips show what's new after you update. • Faces in a photo can be tapped again. • The photo editor no longer closes when you zoom out. • Tracking hints now appear in the language you set in Redact. Detection, anonymization and export still run entirely on your device.

The video editor now answers to your hand. GUIDE PEOPLE BY HAND Drag a person to the right spot. The point lands on the timeline, where you can move it or delete it. The "+" at the playhead sets a new one whenever you need it. PEOPLE THE DETECTOR MISSED Anyone the detector did not find, you can add yourself: draw a box around that person, and Redact keeps them covered from there on. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Split a track into sections — one person leaves, another takes their place, and each section gets its own effect. • "Track from here" picks up a box and follows it through the rest of the scene. • "Detect again" no longer throws your manual work away. • Short hints explain the editors. You can replay them any time under Settings → Tutorial. Redact also speaks eight languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish. Pick yours under Settings → Language. Detection, anonymization and export are unchanged, and still run entirely on your device.

Batch photo anonymization is now part of Redact Pro. • Anonymize your whole camera roll in one pass with Pro • Single photos stay free — unlimited, full resolution, no watermark • Clearer pricing on the upgrade screen, with the monthly cost shown up front Everything still runs entirely on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded.

Redact now speaks eight languages. NEW LANGUAGES Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish. Pick yours under Settings → Language, or leave it on System to follow your device. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • The German translation is complete. A few places still showed English — most visibly the free-trial line on the upgrade screen. • Nine buttons and hints were never translated at all, in any language. They are now. • Dates and times follow the language you picked in the app, instead of your device language. Detection, anonymization and export are unchanged, and still run entirely on your device.

The biggest Redact update yet — video, a real editor, and Redact Pro. VIDEO Anonymize whole videos, not just photos. Redact finds and tracks every face through the entire clip, automatically. Blur, pixelate, emoji or sticker — with a live preview, so there's no waiting for a re-render. Your audio stays untouched. A REAL EDITOR • Timeline to trim, extend, rename and fine-tune each person • A different effect on every face • Multi-level undo • Adjustable strength and padding NEW LOOK & EFFECTS • Redesigned, warmer interface with a quick onboarding • Per-person effects for photos • Fresh emoji and sticker packs (Sunshine & Stars) PROJECTS Start now, finish later — reopen any photo or video project right where you left off. MORE DETECTION License plates are now detected in photos too, right alongside faces. REDACT PRO Unlock every effect, full-resolution export and longer videos. Monthly, yearly (with a free trial), or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Fixes and polish for 1.2. CLEARER ABOUT WHAT'S PRO Effects now consistently show whether they belong to Redact Pro — including inside the emoji and sticker pickers, where the lock was missing. NO MORE SILENT SWAPS If a saved project uses a Pro effect while Pro isn't active, Redact now explains why it shows a mosaic instead of quietly replacing your effect. Your emoji or sticker pack stays saved and comes back unchanged the moment you unlock Pro. ONBOARDING The feature tour now marks emoji packs as part of Redact Pro. As always: everything runs on your device. No cloud, no account, nothing uploaded.
