The classic number puzzle, with room to grow. Sudoku by WizusLabs brings you eleven ways to play — three board sizes and eight sudoku variants — with six difficulty levels from Easy to Grandmaster, all playable offline with no account required.
Every Classic puzzle is solvable by logic alone. No guessing needed.
THREE BOARD SIZES
- CLASSIC — The original 9x9 grid. Fill every row, column, and 3x3 box with 1-9.
- Mini — Quick 6x6 puzzle. Five minutes.
- LARGE 12x12 — A bigger 12x12 grid. More space to think.
EIGHT SUDOKU VARIANTS
- IRREGULAR — Same rules, custom regions.
- X-SUDOKU — Diagonals must hold 1-9 too.
- WINDOKU — Four shaded boxes also hold 1-9.
- EVEN-ODD — Shaded cells take even or odd digits.
- THERMO — Digits rise along each thermometer.
- ARROW — Each circle equals the sum along its arrow.
- KILLER — Cage sums + sudoku logic.
- SANDWICH — Margin clues sum the digits between 1 and 9.
RELAXED MODE
No fail, no clock — just the puzzle. A practice run is never written to your stats, streak, or best time, and you check your work when you choose instead of being corrected as you type.
LEARN AS YOU PLAY
- Technique Trainer — 57 guided exercises across Core Techniques and every variant. Naked and Hidden Singles, Naked and Hidden Pairs, Pointing Pairs, X-Wing, Swordfish, XY-Wing, plus Killer cage combinations and the Rule of 45.
- Variant rules — Every puzzle type explains its own rule before you start.
- Smart Hints — Tiered hints that teach, not just tell. Level one names the technique; level two reveals the answer.
FEATURES
- Daily Challenge — A new puzzle every day, a daily streak, and an archive to replay past dates.
- Monthly Trophy Wall — A calendar view of every puzzle you have completed.
- Achievements — Recognition that unlocks as your solving deepens.
- Auto-Notes — Automatic candidate population for advanced play.
- Multi-Color Candidates — Color-tag candidates for chain analysis.
- Digit Spotlight — Long-press a number to light up every cell and note using it.
- Pencil Notes, Undo and Redo — Full note-taking, step back and step forward again.
- Cell-First or Number-First input — Pick your input grammar, and mirror the controls for left-handed play.
- Shareable Solve Card — Share a result card with your time and difficulty.
- Themes — Follow your system light or dark setting, or choose Light or Dark yourself.
- Accessibility — Colorblind palettes (deuteranopia, tritanopia, monochrome), adjustable font scale, larger board digits, and three peer-highlight styles.
- Tablet Layout — Cards reflow into two columns on iPad.
SIX DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Master and Grandmaster — down to 21 given cells at Grandmaster. Every puzzle has exactly one solution.

Sudoku 1.1.0
A big one. A named challenge every week, a Coach that explains the method, and a completion cue that finally reaches every variant.
NEW WAYS TO PLAY
• Weekly Twist: one named challenge every week, built from the modes you already play.
• Hand a finished puzzle on the moment you solve it, find a shared puzzle again later, and pass on one you played last week. Killer is no longer the exception.
• An opt-in daily reminder: one quiet nudge a day, at a time you choose. Nothing is scheduled until you turn it on, and it follows the app language.
• Endless session is back: finish a puzzle and the next starts at once. It keeps count and survives a restart — and it now lives on the Variants tab.
LEARN
• The Coach now explains the method instead of only naming it, and walks you through it only where the board can prove the step.
• A finished Killer, Thermo, Arrow or Sandwich puzzle gets a "How you solved it" recap, in that variant's own vocabulary.
• New Learn material for the colour chain the Coach was already using, with a board to practise it on.
FEEL
• The Play tab now comes first, ahead of Today, and it is where the app opens.
• On a new install the app opens in Dark. If you have already picked Light, Dark or System default, your choice stays as it is — and all three are still in Settings.
• Lives now show as a heart and a number, so you can read what you have left at a glance.
• A completed Killer cage, Windoku extra region, X-Sudoku diagonal, Thermo thermometer or Arrow now gets the same glow, sound and buzz that a completed row does.
• Thermo, Arrow and Sandwich name themselves in the game top bar.
• The sound, pause and time controls now sit together beside the Learn icon.
• Pro unlocks on every tab the moment you buy it.
ACCESSIBILITY
• Hear a whole row, column or box in one gesture.
• The board read-out speaks 15 more languages.
• The digit you type is legible again on a Thermo bulb and under an Arrow shaft, and an even cell now looks marked.
• Labels across the app hold up at large text sizes instead of being clipped — the clock, the hint card, Learn tiles and the PAUSED panel among them.
FIXES
• On a Relaxed run the completion cue no longer gives away whether your entries are right, and Play Again no longer withdraws the no-fail promise.
• A resumed Daily now credits the day it was earned.
• X-Sudoku and Windoku no longer freeze while a board is prepared, and a failed Daily can no longer leave the app behind an overlay you cannot dismiss.
• Auto-Notes no longer destroys pencil marks irrecoverably.
• Difficulty is honest again across thousands of boards, the hardest tiers stop handing back puzzles you have already solved, and the pools are bigger.
Thanks for playing!
