Tap it, and TapSafety captures your exact GPS, reverse-geocodes it into a real street address, and pre-fills an SMS to your chosen contacts with a tappable Apple Maps link. One more tap and it's sent. No menus, no confirmation dialogs, no audio alarm, no siren announcing your panic to anyone around you. Built to work even when you're in full panic.
Your message goes out through iMessage as a rich Apple Maps card your contact can tap for driving directions. You can share your SOS with one person or ten — you pick who, and only they get it. The default message includes a 911 fallback line that asks your contact to call 911 if they can't reach you. SMS queues and delivers even with patchy signal, so an offline tap still gets help on the way the moment your service comes back. Navigation-grade GPS — not a vague neighborhood guess, your exact spot.
Nothing leaves your phone. Your emergency contacts and your location live on your device only. No accounts, no logins, no analytics SDKs, no cross-app trackers. We can't see who you are, who you picked, or where you've been. The SOS goes out through Apple's Messages app directly to the people you chose — the same infrastructure as every other text you send.
