Adding gear is more reliable: errors now show clearly, a new Search the web option finds gear that isn't in the list, and new gear lands in the right tab. Pro is billed when you subscribe. Crash reporting helps us find and fix problems faster.

• Pick the part: switch between a song's main tone and each of its sections. • Adding gear is fixed: any guitar, amp or pedal now adds to your rig. • A clearer Pro screen: your song and rig, both plans side by side, and exactly how the free trial works. • Smoother sign-in, sign-out and account handling.

Tone recipes now show their work: every control on your gear - including the ones to leave alone and why - plus how ToneMatcher ranked your rig against the song, and the sources behind the settings. New: ToneMatcher Pro (3-day free trial) runs every recipe on our most accurate engine. You can also delete your account from the app.

Pick up where you left off: your recent tones now live on the home screen, plus a Recent Tones page with everything you have ever dialed in. Search shows results instantly as you type. My Gear opens over whichever screen you are on, and gear changes retune the open tone. A cleaner header with your plan status, and a feedback button on every screen. Signed-in players land straight on their recipe — one less tap.

Polished the branding — the ToneMatcher dial logo now matches across the app, plus a cleaner top nav.

Rebuilt from the ground up as a native app. Search any song and get exact amp & pedal settings for the gear you own, with a faster flow, cleaner recipe view, and your saved tones synced to your account.

Minor improvements and maintenance updates for ToneMatcher.
