This update fixes a problem that stopped the app from opening on iOS 27. If the app closed straight away after you updated your iPhone or iPad, installing this version restores it.

This update brings the app in line with everything added on the web since July, plus two fixes made specifically for phones. ON YOUR PHONE - The chat box now fits every screen size. On some devices it sat slightly too wide, which pushed the send button off the right edge. - The app icon has been redrawn so it sits properly inside its frame on the home screen instead of filling it edge to edge. ASSISTANTS AND FILES - Knowledge files for an assistant now go up to 25MB, matching what project files have always accepted, so a scanned PDF or an image-heavy presentation no longer has to be trimmed first. - When an upload does fail, the message now says why: too large, text that could not be read, or a document longer than can be used in full. MODELS - The model named as the default for a new chat is now the model that actually replies. The picker and the send step previously decided by different rules. - Automatic model choice carries over to new conversations instead of applying only to the chat you were in. - The image screen lists the models that genuinely work. Retired models are gone, and three Google models it had been hiding are available again. - If a video model is unavailable and another stands in for it, your chosen length is moved to the nearest one the stand-in accepts instead of failing. PRIVACY - Where your organization has sensitive-data detection switched on, it now also covers passwords, API keys, access tokens and private keys, Belgian and German national identity numbers, Dutch and Belgian VAT numbers, number plates, care provider and diagnosis codes, and IP addresses. - Administrators can switch on name detection, which recognizes a person's name from the shape of the sentence rather than from a list of names. CONVERSATIONS - Regenerating an answer twice in quick succession no longer leaves that turn showing no answer at all, or two of them at once. - Your personal data export is now complete. It previously presented itself as complete while leaving out more than twenty kinds of record. ACCOUNT AND BILLING - Cancelling a subscription now really cancels it, instead of opening the payment portal and leaving the rest to you. - Administrators can resend a pending invitation instead of withdrawing it and starting over. - If your organization nominated a separate billing address, invoices and payment notices now go there. Plus a long list of smaller fixes to email, content reporting and the model options dialog.

A new look for the whole app, plus a lot more you can do with your chats. Fresh design: a new look throughout the app, with a matching new icon. Documents: write longer pieces in document mode, save them, and open them again later. A new Documents overview lists everything you have saved. Export to Excel: download any table from a chat as a real Excel file, with currency and percentages kept intact. Word and Excel downloads now work correctly in the app. AUTO model selection: let EchoChat pick a suitable model per message, or keep choosing yourself. New model alerts: get a notice in your inbox when new AI models become available. Clearer math: formulas and symbols now render properly instead of showing raw code. Assistants: the library is grouped into the ones you made, your organization's, and EchoChat's own. Projects: upload files up to 25 MB, see image previews, and get a clear message when a file is too large. Mentions: get notified when someone mentions you in a project and go straight to the message. Report content: report AI-generated content from inside the app. Plus a redesigned sign-in screen, many mobile layout fixes across chat, history and projects, and various stability improvements.
