Mint is now free to use: no trial, no paywall at launch. • Scanning and organizing your files by hand are free, with no limit. • Setup is on us: what you clean or optimize while setting up is free. • Clean up to 1 GB for free. The top bar shows how much is left. • Monthly or Lifetime removes the limit and turns on Auto Care.

• A new first run: give Mint your Home folder and, if you like, Full Disk Access, and see how much of your Mac it can look after. • Disk sorts what it finds into Optimizable, Safe to clean, Yours and Keep, shown as a gallery you can zoom. • Optimizable lets identical copies share their storage. Nothing is deleted, and every file stays where it is. • A new menu bar panel: your storage at a glance, and any folder tidied in one click.

• New Optimizable: files you keep twice can share one copy of their storage. Nothing is deleted, every file stays where it is, and the space comes back. • The seven free days now show as a countdown in the top bar, with both plans one click away. • A refreshed Home brings your storage and recent activity together. • Clearer folder access setup and easier ways to expand your scan scope. • Fixed folder previews failing after restarting Mint. • Try all features free for seven days, then choose Monthly or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Existing purchases remain valid.

Mint 1.0.33 makes setup clearer and disk cleanup easier to review. • Go back during your first scan without waiting for it to finish. • Review more cache and build-output cleanup choices during setup. • Browse clearer cleanup lists and follow progress as files are cleaned. • Improved translations throughout Mint.

Mint 1.0.32 makes getting started faster and simpler. • Explore the full disk map during setup, with clearer guidance and simple cleanup choices. • Return to recent scan results without waiting for another scan. • Start organizing your Desktop or a folder you choose from your first session. • Enjoy faster disk analysis and Codex media optimization, with clearer progress.

Refreshed previews and localized screenshots make Mint easier to explore.

• A clearer Disk map makes cleanup categories easier to explore. • Your cleanup selections stay selected when you switch filters. • A refined Quick scan helps you get started, with more categories available in the full app. • Organize explains missing folder access more clearly and handles cancelled or unsuccessful moves more reliably.

Mint 1.0.27 makes Disk results clearer and sound feedback gentler. • Fixed an issue where Review All Junk could appear empty after a successful scan. • Scan results remain visible while the full disk map refreshes, and storage totals stay aligned with actual space used. • Sound feedback now defaults to a gentler 20% and is adjustable from mute to full volume. • The Disk map now uses the clearer label ‘Required’ and more consistent visuals.

Mint 1.0.24 can reclaim space from AI coding agents—without making you hunt through hidden files. • Review Codex and Claude Code conversations by project and last use. • Compress Codex screenshots and media into small previews while keeping conversation text readable, or permanently delete only the conversations you select. • Move old Claude Code sessions to Trash for recovery or delete them permanently. • Nothing is preselected, and linked or forked Codex histories are protected from unsafe changes. • Faster scans and cleanup now show live progress and a clear receipt with the actual space freed.

Mint 1.0.22 makes review and protection clearer. • Boundaries now show file and folder scope with clear Needs Review and Protected states. • Disk and Files enforce the same boundary decision when an action runs. • Improved cleanup review, file organization, and Undo reliability. • Standardized Settings typography and concise, neutral help popovers. • Improved scan, menu bar, and work-history stability.

Mint 1.0.10 adds a complete localized experience in German, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, English, Ukrainian, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Dutch. • New onboarding separates access, cleanup scanning, and file organization so each step is clear. • Disk scans only when you press Scan—no automatic scan when opening the tab. • Scan Scope and Scan Options are compact and explicit; exact duplicates and similar photos are optional. • Faster repeat scans with cached file hashes and perceptual photo hashes. • Clearer progress, completion, review-before-Trash, and Free-limit messaging. • Files supports user-authorized folder organization with preview and undo. • Redact keeps PDF and image processing on-device. • The upgrade is Lifetime Unlimited only—one purchase, no subscription. • Reliability and crash fixes throughout the App Store flow.

Mint now presents its core workflow more clearly: organize Downloads, Desktop, or any folder; review cleanup items with clear reasons; run scheduled folder rules; and undo file moves from searchable history. This update also refreshes the App Store screenshots and Mac App Store legal links.

Mint now sorts your Cleanup by where files came from. Using the source URL macOS attaches to every download, Mint groups your folder by origin: Financial, Research, AI, Travel, Email, and more. 11 categories backed by ~250 seed domains. Transparent rules, no ML. Each category gets the action it deserves. Invoices archive into a Financial folder organized by year, never trash. AI tool downloads trash if never opened, archive otherwise. Stripe receipts forwarded via Gmail still route by content, not by Gmail. Organize by Topics now uses Where-From signals too. A new weighted scorer replaces "first-match wins" filenames. Email and Social are treated as conduits: a Stripe invoice forwarded via Gmail routes to Financial, not Email. New Travel topic with 50+ domains (airlines, OTAs, lodging). Boarding passes named AAxxxxxx.pdf finally classify instead of falling into Other. Auto-bind in the Topics editor: name a topic Finance and Mint suggests + Financial as a chip. Also: iCloud duplicate cleanup fixed, 7 hardening fixes in the Where-From engine, polish across charts and sidebar.
