NEW Saved Rooms: a host can keep a transcript of a room. Turn saving on when you create the room, or at any point while it is running. Everyone in the room is told, and told again if you turn it off, so nobody is left assuming they are still being recorded. Nothing said before you turn saving on is ever kept. Saving does not reach backwards, so a transcript cannot quietly capture a conversation that happened before anyone agreed to it. Private messages are never saved at all. Saved rooms live under Saved Rooms, where you can read a transcript or delete it. They stay on this Mac until you delete them. Nothing expires on its own. Rooms saved on your iPhone or iPad can be copied to this Mac when the room ends, so the transcript lives here too. When a room ends, Lokei Studio now tells you what it kept instead of saving in silence. IMPROVED Joining a room that has been restarted no longer fails without explanation. Lokei Studio refreshes discovery and reconnects on its own. Room problems say what actually went wrong rather than blaming your Wi-Fi, and leave a trace in the log when they do. The Trust Ledger records saved room transcripts, and no longer loses the whole file to a single unreadable entry. The privacy report names saved rooms where it lists what is stored and where.
