BlueNote 2.0.1 makes Markdown tables clear and editable, with native styling, direct cell editing, and preserved formatting in PDF and Word exports.
BlueNote is a lightweight text and Markdown editor designed for macOS.
It keeps writing simple: open a document and start typing, or use your voice to capture ideas. You can edit plain-text files like a traditional notepad or open Markdown files and work with their formatting in a clear, visual editor.
In Markdown mode, headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, links, lists, block quotes, code blocks, and dividers are displayed with readable styling. Your work is still saved as a standard .md file, so it remains compatible with AI tools, code editors, and other Markdown applications.
When your document is ready, you can export it to PDF or Word (.docx) while preserving headings, paragraphs, and common formatting styles for sharing, printing, or further editing.
Tap the microphone button in the bottom-right corner to use macOS system speech recognition and transcribe your voice directly into the current document. It is a natural way to capture ideas, meeting notes, drafts, and quick thoughts.
