DeepListen: English Listening
Listen Until You Get It

Truly understand English by listening first, then reading.
DeepListen is an English learning app built around listening. With a learning flow of Blind Listening → Focused Listening → Deep Learning, you can identify what you actually missed and turn “I couldn’t catch that” into real listening comprehension.
During sentence-by-sentence practice, the text stays hidden while you listen and appears only after the sentence ends, helping you identify the words you truly couldn’t hear or understand.
What you learn is brought back through spaced review, while past sentences give you a chance to hear how much your listening has improved over time.
Listening Mode also lets you keep practicing while walking, commuting, or exercising without constantly looking at your screen.
From “I think I understood it” to “I can actually hear it.”

What's new:
• Hands-free review now reveals the answer: you'll hear the word twice, its meaning and the original sentence. Press "previous" on your headphones or car to undo and hear the question again, or "next" to skip the reveal. You can turn off the intro in Settings
• End-of-round quiz: see right or wrong and an explanation the moment you tap; leave midway and you'll pick up at the first unanswered question; use "Previous" to look back at answered questions
• When reviews pile up, you'll be asked to review before starting a new article (the one you're on isn't affected). Opening a new article with a code works the same way, and it opens automatically once you've caught up
• Removed articles: you can finish a round already in progress, and their sentences still play in review
• If an article fails to load, you can always tap Retry, and it retries automatically when you're back online; error messages are clearer
• The second-pass title fits on one line, and the sentence area no longer gets squeezed on small screens or with large text
• "Continue" and sentence numbers are more accurate
• Delete account: if you still have a subscription, a reminder at the top tells you to take care of it first
• A fresh install picks up the right settings on first launch; learning progress syncs automatically when you're back online; clearer sign-in error messages
• Bug fixes and stability improvements

• Replaying a sentence is smoother, with no more pops at the start or end
• Third-pass cards are more reliable and show up even on a slow connection
• After a review question you'll see an explanation and hear the word and its meaning; the speaker icon at the top right turns off sound effects and read-aloud in one go

• Opening the app from a review reminder no longer gets stuck
• When your level moves up or down, you'll be told, and you can choose to keep your current level
