It shows on the TV and on every phone, from the lobby to the final results, with a title card before round 1. NEW THEMES Weddings, stadium anthems, football club anthems, national anthems of Europe, World Cup and Euro songs, James Bond, TV themes, duets, sing-along classics, Britpop, instrumental and live favourites. PACKS AND THEMES Packs are the shelves: trending, decades, classics and around the world. Themes are the collections. Menu takes you back to where you were. SONGS START ON TIME Every round's clip is ready before the countdown ends, so the first song no longer waits for the network. CHRISTMAS MODE Tap Quiz dresses up for Christmas: falling snow, Christmas lights and Santa hats on the TV and every phone. It turns on by itself in December or with the Christmas pack. Set it to Auto, On or Off. THEMES A new Themes tab next to packs and genres. First up: every Eurovision winner from 1956 to 2026. NEW PACKS Local hits for Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy, plus 60s Hits, Musicals, Viral Hits, Halloween, Afrobeats, Dansband and Schlager. It gives you everything in Premium plus room for 100 phones for 48 hours. SMOOTHER TAP QUIZ Change pack without losing the room or the players. If the host leaves, the phones say so and follow into the next game. When a room is full, phones get in by themselves as soon as there is space, for example after an Event Pass. ALSO A clear overview of your plan, every button on one row, and a fresh look from the very first screen. A new app icon, smoother screen changes, and the countdown in the Studio look in every mode.

NEW: Tap Quiz. Everyone answers on their own phone. The TV shows a QR code, players open shouttrack.app/play, and the fastest correct tap wins the round. Scored automatically, no app to install. Premium rooms take 20 phones; the new Event Pass opens a room to 100 phones for 48 hours. NEW: The Studio look on every screen, with bigger type and less text. Also: rounds can move on by themselves (Auto or Manual in Tap setup), answer bars on the reveal, and phones follow the host straight into the next game.

Choose your lobby music: Decide which genre plays in the menus — Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, K-Pop, Disco, Funk and many more. More genres: New music genres to challenge your friends with. Cleaner results: End a game early and the setlist now shows only the songs you actually played. Minor improvements and bug fixes for a smoother experience.

Minor bug fixes

New: Turbo Quiz A rapid-fire mode for the after-party. Ten-second clips back to back, no scoring — just the title flashing between songs and a full setlist at the end. Pick 5, 10, 20, 30, or 40 songs. Also in this update: • Now in 10 languages — English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, and Finnish • Smoother album-art reveal during gameplay • Wider music variety with fewer repeats Free mode includes a 5-song Turbo. Premium unlocks longer runs (10–40 songs) and 20- or 30-second clips.

Library playlists from Apple Music now load fast and reliably. Removed slow fallback catalog search that caused timeouts on large playlists. Uses direct catalog matches only, which provides plenty of songs for gameplay. Album artwork no longer briefly flashes unblurred before the blur effect is applied during playback. The false "not enough playable songs" error no longer appears when the network is slow. The game lets you try starting regardless. Library playlists now only appear in the Apple Music section, not duplicated under "Imported via URL". Card text on imported playlists now matches the size of library playlist cards. Game setup shows the actual number of available songs after loading, with a spinner while fetching. Subscription status updates automatically if you subscribe or cancel while the app is open. Background music loads faster with parallel fetching.

Import Apple Music Playlists Paste any Apple Music playlist URL to create a custom quiz pack. Perfect for quiz nights, parties, and events where you want to use your own music. Imported playlists are saved for reuse. Browse Your Apple Music Library If you have an Apple Music subscription, your own playlists appear directly in the app. Tap any playlist to instantly start a quiz from it. New Playlists Tab Pack selection now has three tabs: Packs, Genres, and Playlists. The Playlists tab shows both your Apple Music library playlists and playlists imported via URL. Up to 8 Players Player selection expanded from 5 to 8 individual player slots. Great for larger groups and party settings. Improved Game Setup Redesigned layout gives more room to configure your game. The “Change pack” button is now clearly visible in the footer bar. Smart Apple Music Detection The app now detects whether you have Apple Music access, an active subscription, or no playlists, and shows helpful guidance for each scenario. Better Focus Navigation The Reveal button and Award Points screen now automatically focus on the correct button when they appear. No more hunting with the remote. Better Background Music Background music now plays only upbeat genres (Pop, Dance, Electronic, Latin, Alternative, Reggae) for a more energetic lobby atmosphere. Loading Feedback The “Warming up the speakers” loading screen now has a proper card backdrop for better readability.
