No subscription - the support pack is a one-time purchase. No account, no sign-up. iCloud sync and your own backup keep your log when you switch phones. Free to start.
Log every station you get off at, with a photo, a note and a star rating. No account, no sign-up - open the app and start.
Three steps.
1. Get off at a station and open the app
2. Tap "Record Here" at the bottom right of the Map (the nearest station is picked for you)
3. Add a photo and a note, then save
No need to type a station name, and you can add past trips later.
Your records don't disappear:
iCloud sync and a backup you keep yourself - they stay with you
when you switch phones.
Log as many stations as you like, as often as you like, for free. There's no daily limit on records.
The app has no accounts, so there is nothing to suspend or delete. Everyone in the family can use it on their own iPhone (with iCloud sync on, your records come back even after reinstalling).
Station data is built into the app, so you can record underground or where there's no signal.
Oritabi turns your train trips in Japan into a collection.
10,574 station entries across Japan (a station
served by several lines is counted once per line), from
Shinkansen hubs to tiny unmanned stops in the mountains.

ABOUT THE DATA
Station data from ekidata.jp. Railway line data from the National
Land Numerical Information (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure,
Transport and Tourism of Japan).
NOTE
Oritabi records the stations you visit, not the sections of
track you have ridden.
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Thank you for using Oritabi.
Rides you log in "Rides" now appear as lines on the map and are counted in Distance Traveled on the Stats tab.
- Both end stations and the stations in between are connected and drawn as a line on the map. The line looks the same as lines from logged stations.
- The distance of each ride is added to Distance Traveled. If you have already logged rides, your distance will increase when you update to this version.
- Delete a ride and the line and distance go back right away.
- The lines and distance from logged rides are visible even without the Support Pack.
- Rides do not count toward completing a line (the thicker line and the number of completed lines). Completion is still decided only by the stations you have logged.
The Help sections "How lines are drawn" and "How Distance Traveled is counted", and the text on the Rides screen, have been updated to match. Your station logs, collections, prefecture coloring and milestone counts are unchanged. All your existing records are kept as they are.
