CurioPlay: IPTV Home Cinema
Live TV player · M3U & Xtream
Free · In‑App Purchases
Your IPTV subscription deserves better than a list of twenty thousand names.
CurioPlay takes the playlist your provider gave you and turns it into a home cinema: live channels with a real TV guide, films with posters and cast, series with seasons and episodes — all organised for you, automatically. On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, with one purchase and one library.
WHY PEOPLE SWITCH TO CURIOPLAY
• A design that belongs on your Apple devices. Big artwork, smooth scrolling, a remote-friendly Apple TV app, no clutter. No ads, ever.
• It understands your library. Ask Curio finds something to watch when you ask in your own words — "something quiet and beautiful for tonight" — privately, on your device.
• A guide you actually use. See what's on now and next, jump back to a programme you missed, record what you're watching.
• Built for the whole family. Kids Mode locks the app to what you approve, behind a PIN only you know.
• Arabic done right. Right-to-left titles, search and metadata that simply work — not an afterthought.
LIVE TV
• Instant zapping, a full programme guide, what's on now and next
• Catch-up: replay past programmes straight from the guide (Pro)
• Record what you're watching, or schedule a recording from the guide (Pro)
• Pin the groups you love, hide the ones you never watch
MOVIES & SERIES
• Posters, cast and descriptions; seasons and episodes in order
• Trending this week and "Curated for you", picked from your own library
• Up Next, favourites and Continue Watching, on every device with iCloud sync (Pro)
• Downloads for offline viewing (Pro)
YOUR WAY
• Ask Curio: describe a mood, get a shortlist — private, on your device
• Search everything, straight from the Home Screen with Spotlight
• Siri and Shortcuts: play a channel or a show by voice
• Kids Mode with a PIN only you know
• Arabic-first: right-to-left done right
ON EVERY SCREEN

• Watch together over FaceTime with SharePlay
• Home Screen widgets and a Lock Screen player card
• One purchase for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV — with a Top Shelf on Apple TV

FREE, FOR REAL
The complete player — live TV, guide, movies, series, search and Kids Mode — is free with one playlist. No ads, no account, no tracking.
CURIOPLAY PRO
For households with more than one provider: all your playlists in one place, iCloud sync of history, favourites and resume across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, plus catch-up, recording and downloads. Monthly, yearly with a 7-day free trial, or once for a lifetime. One purchase covers all your Apple devices.
WHAT CURIOPLAY IS NOT
CurioPlay is a player. It contains no channels, streams or content and does not help you find any. You connect the playlist (M3U link or Xtream login) that your own IPTV provider gave you.
Privacy: no account, no tracking, no ads. Your playlists and viewing stay on your device — and in your own iCloud, if you turn sync on.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• iPhone Duo: stand the phone half-open on a table while you watch, and the picture moves to the top half with a remote below it. Play and pause, change channel or skip in a film, and open tabs such as Info, Guide and Browse; the Guide shows what is on now, next and later on every channel of the group, and Search keeps the picture playing above the keyboard.
• iPhone Duo, held any other way: flat, open wide or closed, the same remote now sits over the picture, and held like a book, the picture takes one page and the remote the other. For films, skip 10 seconds, change the speed, and choose audio and subtitles. On the table the lower half glows softly in the picture's colours; Settings › Player can keep it black, keep the player full screen or keep the player controls visible. Open wide, the app's tabs (Home, Channels, Search …) move to a column at the side, with the mini player at its foot.
• Ask Curio finds a channel from part of its name, even a broadcaster's name in it, forgives a typo, and when no channel has that exact name it can list the closest ones and says so. A playlist you add now reaches Search, Ask Curio and Siri without a refresh or a relaunch, and a deleted one leaves them shortly after.
• Film pages show the cast and director the first time you open them when CurioPlay is sure of the match (the title and year agree, or you picked it with Fix Match), with photos where there are some. A match you fix now stays fixed and updates at once, and a film no longer picks up a TV channel's details. TV guide: with two or more playlists that each have a guide, every channel shows its own playlist's programmes in the player, on Home, in the TV Guide and in the widget, and guides always download fresh.
• Your provider: if it gives you a new server or login, change the server, username and password in Edit Source & EPG…, and after you replace a playlist, your favourites come back with their channels. A channel your provider no longer lists leaves Home, Siri, Spotlight and the widget; in your favourites and channel lists it is marked "No longer in your playlist" instead of failing to play, and it comes back if your provider lists it again. A film keeps one connection to your provider while you skip around in it, and closing it ends that connection. Opening a series no longer sends your provider a request for every episode. CurioPlay now paces its requests to your provider and no longer keeps retrying a login your provider refused. Also: very large libraries use far less memory; a film you are downloading now finishes and appears in Downloads even if iOS closes CurioPlay in the background, and downloads waiting their turn are kept; channel groups named 24/7 stay in Channels even when their name also says VOD, Movies or Cinema (after the next refresh); Top 10 Channels shows live channels only; counts read "1 result", not "1 results"; stability fixes. The Lock Screen shows the live channel's own name. On the Lock Screen, skipping in a film now starts from where you are.
