Closed the payment sheet by mistake? The app now confirms that nothing was charged and makes it easy to try again. From your second export, you can rate the app straight from the result screen.

When Photos access is turned off, saving now shows an Open Settings button and reminds you that Share / Save to Files keeps your photo right away. Your first two exports are free, and a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited photo exports after that. No subscription.

Tapping "Rate This App" in Settings now opens the App Store, as it always should have. If your iPhone runs low on space while saving, the app now tells you plainly and offers to free some up for you. On your Home Screen the app is now called Photo Compressor, the same as its name in the App Store.

The upgrade option now has a quiet home on the result screen, beside what the app just saved for you. Small refinements to when it is mentioned, so it stays out of your way.

Saving is immediate. Your free exports are used without an extra step, and the upgrade offer now comes after your photo is saved rather than before it. Opening a photo or PDF from another app is steady again.

Three free exports instead of one, so a few photos can be fixed without paying for anything. Batch and the one-tap passport, ID and visa sizes are part of Photos. Any size can still be typed in by hand, free. Smoother and more dependable. This update polishes compressing, saving and sharing, and helps us find and fix problems faster.

The unlock screen keeps trying for longer when the store is slow to answer, so the price arrives instead of the screen sitting empty.

A compressed PDF now shows its own first page, so you can see the text is still readable before you save it. The unlock screen says what each option includes, and picking a size for one photo asks for the photo option rather than the larger one. Free up storage now takes you straight to the right setting when it needs access to your photos.

Buying an unlock is more reliable. If the store is slow to answer, the app now asks again rather than leaving the price blank and the button inactive. A purchase that finishes while the app is closed is picked up the next time you open it, so an unlock you have paid for reaches you even if the app was not running when it completed.

Small refinements under the hood.

A new dark design, on every screen. The whole app has been redrawn. The numbers that matter are larger and easier to read, each step says plainly what it is about to do, and the whole thing is kinder to look at in low light. Also in this release: Passport and ID crops hold their exact proportions on every screen size, so a 35 by 45 mm photo comes out at 35 by 45 mm. The result screen shows the compressed size on shorter phones too. Storage cleanup reports what it measured on your own photos, not an estimate. Arabic reads correctly across the size presets and the storage figures.

Performance improvements and bug fixes.

Set the dimensions, not just the size. Type a width and height in pixels, millimetres, centimetres or inches, or pick a passport, ID photo, UPSC or visa preset. The photo is resized first and then compressed to your KB limit, and if the limit needs a further reduction the result says what it produced. Crop to a square, portrait or landscape shape, or drag your own over the photo. TIFF, GIF and BMP files open now, alongside JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF and WebP. The size screen has been rebuilt around a much larger preview, so you can see the photo you are working on, and the options most people never touch are tucked away until you want them. Arabic now reads file sizes the right way round: a size such as 50 KB used to draw in the wrong order everywhere it appeared.

Storage cleanup, made safe to interrupt. A run over thousands of photos takes a while, so it can now be paused and picked up later, and it keeps working with the screen awake. Every compressed copy is read back and checked before the original is moved to your trash. Before a run, the app says how much room it needs while it works and how much it gives back, and it can free space as it goes if you are short. When it finishes it shows the step that actually returns the space: emptying your trash. Two ways to scan. Quick finds your biggest photos in seconds. Thorough weighs every photo and video and shows what is using your space. The Arabic app is fully Arabic now. Around ninety messages, options and results that were still in English have been translated, and photo dimensions read the right way round.

Some photos failed with "cannot fit under 50 KB" even when that size was perfectly achievable, because the app stopped reducing image dimensions too early. It now searches further, so the recommended 50 KB preset, the limit most upload forms ask for, succeeds on photos that previously failed. Also in this release: - A new app icon, easier to spot in search results and on your home screen - Arabic is now correctly listed as a supported language - Smaller internal fixes and stability improvements
