An update focused on the car, on never losing a drive, and on keeping your iPhone cooler. CARPLAY · As you approach a speed camera or a community report, the car shows you what it is and how many metres away. And if you're in another app, like your music, the alert still pops up. · Smoother speedometer: it moves several times a second, as you'd expect, and shows the road's real limit. · Speed cameras on the carriageway next to you no longer alert, also when the app runs only on the car. · The turn arrow and the lane arrows now agree at exits. · "Which vehicle are you in?" on the car screen, so each drive is saved to the right vehicle. · The top bar hides by itself while navigating too, and comes back when you tap the map. · The road name updates right away and the map starts with your theme. YOUR DRIVES, SAFE · Park for more than 30 minutes and your next drive is a new one: trips from different days no longer merge. · If a drive can't be uploaded, it stays on your iPhone and retries until it's fully uploaded. · Navigation no longer sends you off the route to bring you back, and rerouting no longer drops your stops. · "My trips" records when you arrive. · Segments timed to the millisecond. COOLER · Navigating with your iPhone, the app does far less work: it runs noticeably cooler and uses less battery. · Nothing spins forever: if something doesn't load, it says so and you can retry. ALSO · Creating meetups is now free for everyone. · The top speed leaderboard is now Premium. · Purchases waiting for family approval now make sense in Premium. · Notifications no longer arrive more than once. · On iOS 27, the app's glass no longer looks washed out in dark mode.

A big one: everything we've built since the last version lands here. RANKINGS, IN THEIR OWN TAB · Rankings move into the dock: Social, Map, Rankings and Profile. · A green dot for whoever is out riding right now, and a mini profile on tap. With Premium, filter to friends. · Ahead of someone? Nudge them: they get a chat telling them how many places you're up. YOUR GARAGE, PROPERLY · Tap your vehicle to open its page, with its spec and its totals. And you can now see other riders' garages too. · When you add one, pick make, model, year and version, and horsepower, displacement and fuel fill in by themselves from a catalogue of over 2,500 generations. · Yours isn't there? Add it and it shows up instantly. · With Premium, compare yourself on each segment against riders on your exact model. · With CarPlay, the app remembers each car and saves the drive to the right vehicle, never to your bike. STORIES THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE · Permanent highlights on your profile, with any cover you like from your photos. · New editor: resize with the slider, switch typeface, colour and background, and drag the text anywhere. · Swipe between filters and see the old and the new one at once. · Pick several photos in one go and they publish in order. Videos can be edited too. · Share a story with just your crew. · Tap anyone who viewed your story to open their profile. MAP AND SPEED CAMERAS · As you approach a speed camera or a community report on your way, the map sends ripples out from the spot, on CarPlay too. · Speed cameras grow as you get closer, and their limit reads at a glance. · Speed cameras only alert if they're on your road: no more warnings from the carriageway next to you. · Automatic zoom as you reach each turn. CARPLAY · A settings menu in the car: change sound and theme without touching your iPhone. · Directions and arrival time stay dark in daylight too. · The map starts where you are, never on the globe. · Your friends move smoothly, with the same marker as on your iPhone. · What you search from the car now shows up in your recent searches. · Your music no longer jumps up and down when an alert plays. YOUR DRIVES, SAFE · If saving a drive fails, it stays on your iPhone and tries again. · If recording pauses itself when you arrive, it resumes as soon as you set off again. · Fairer segment timing: it runs from the exact moment you cross the start line to the moment you cross the finish. · A refreshed drive summary video, like a flight over your route. ALSO · Achievements with the full catalogue and your real progress on each one. · "My trips": how long it actually took versus what was predicted. · Adding friends shows the closest ones first. · Chats open instantly, with your latest messages. · Edit or cancel your meetups, and disband your crew if you want to. SMOOTHER AND COOLER · With Low Power Mode on, the app moves just as smoothly. · Far less work when the app is idle, in the feed, in chats and on the map: your iPhone runs cooler. · Highlights load right away. FIXED · Fewer quits: fixed the ones caused by low memory, by disconnecting from the car, and by opening a segment after cancelling one. · On CarPlay, your arrow no longer flickers or turns huge, and cancelling no longer leaves the "Go" button stuck. · Navigating on low battery, GPS no longer loses accuracy. · Signing up with the emailed code no longer gets stuck if you have to retry. · Your photo on the map no longer disappears when you switch themes. · If something fails to load, the screen no longer spins forever.

Brand-new segment stats: · Compare yourself to the KOR meter by meter: see exactly which corner costs you time, with both runs replaying over the segment's shape. Drag to scrub anywhere. · Filter the whole segment by bike or car from the top. · "When it's fastest" now reads at a glance: the tallest bar is the best moment. · Your progression with dates and a scrubber: tap any run to see its day and time. · Segment times now show real milliseconds. Also: · Voice prompts stand out again: your music dips while they speak and comes right back, including with your iPhone locked or on CarPlay. · With CarPlay in charge, your iPhone no longer launches its own navigation on top. · Drives recorded while navigating with CarPlay keep all their data. · Opening an activity or a segment now blurs the background.
