Pocket AI — Private On-Device AI Offline AI chat, photo questions, voice transcription, and a PDF assistant, running on your iPhone. Pocket AI runs open-source language and vision models directly on your iPhone's GPU with Apple's MLX. Your prompts, photos, recordings, and documents are processed on the device. No account needed. WHY ON-DEVICE Cloud AI uploads every prompt, photo, and PDF you share. For journals, contracts, meeting notes, and private thoughts, that's a bad trade. With Pocket AI the work happens on your phone, and once a model is downloaded it works in airplane mode. WHAT YOU CAN DO · Chat — A private offline assistant for writing, brainstorming, and thinking things through. Models include Gemma 2, Llama 3.2, Phi 3.5, and Mistral 7B. · Transcribe — Record voice memos and turn them into text with Apple's on-device speech recognition, then get a short summary. · Documents — Add a PDF, ask questions, and get answers drawn from its text. The document is indexed on your device. · See — Pick a photo of a sign, menu, receipt, or scene and ask about it, with the SmolVLM2 or Qwen 2.5 VL vision models. GOOD TO KNOW · Each model downloads once (up to about 4 GB), then runs offline. · Larger models need more memory, and newer iPhones run them faster. · AI can be wrong. Check anything important. POCKET AI SUBSCRIPTION Pocket AI requires a subscription, billed weekly, monthly, or yearly. It unlocks every mode, plus: · Mistral 7B for richer writing and reasoning · Phi 3.5 with a 16k-token context for longer documents · Crew mode Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. PRIVACY There is no Pocket AI server for your prompts. Your chats, recordings, and documents stay on your device. We use Firebase for usage and crash reports and, only if you allow tracking, TikTok's SDK to see which ad brought you to the app. None of them receive your prompts, photos, recordings, or documents. We don't sell your data, and the app shows no ads. Crew can now get things done. Ask it to add a reminder or a calendar event, or to draft a text or email. You see a card first, and nothing happens until you approve. Texts and emails open in Apple's composer, so you press send. Memory: tell Crew "remember…" and it keeps it on your iPhone. See or delete everything in Settings → Memory. Crew is much faster after its first step. New welcome screens. Pick which model downloads first. Bug fixes.
