This update improves stability and security. • Fixed crashes that could happen while the walkie-talkie (push-to-talk) or nearby Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connections were starting up. • With the microphone permission off, or during a phone call, the walkie-talkie no longer closes the app. It shows a clear message instead. • Damaged, oversized or malicious data received over Bluetooth can no longer crash the app. Photos are sent and received more safely, and very large photos are shrunk before sending. • On iPad, the Share button on the earthquake detail screen closed the app. Fixed. • Apple Watch: a damaged earthquake record could crash the Watch app on every launch. Fixed. Life Check and syncing with the iPhone use fewer resources. • The earthquake list now combines AFAD and EMSC data, and the same earthquake appears once. The list is saved on the device, so the last list appears immediately when you reopen the app. • Home screen: it shows when the earthquake list was last updated and when an update failed. Buttons are easier to tap, and pull-to-refresh was added. You can tap anywhere on an earthquake row. • In chat, the name you entered at sign-up now appears on your messages right away (instead of a random name). • Settings: the Emergency SMS and Life Check choices are now saved; the Haptic Feedback and Background Location switches work; the back button in notification settings works; "Delete Data" now deletes what it says; incorrect statements on the info card were corrected. • The Settings and About screens show the real version number. The P-Wave switch now starts turned on. • Very long chat messages may be shortened.
