The clock screen is clean and the Alarm tab quickly opens an empty alarm list with an Add button. I opened New alarm and found clear options for sound, snooze, label, and preview. Saving immediately explained that Alarms permission must be enabled in Settings, so the first setup is not fully ready out of the box.
