Point the camera at any package. TinyPlate now reads the ingredients label too. No barcode, or a barcode we do not know? Photograph the ingredients panel and TinyPlate checks what it reads against your child's age and allergies. Also in this update: barcode scanning is faster, scan results are clearer, and product names read cleanly.

Scan a barcode to check a food. Point the camera at a package and TinyPlate checks it against your child's age and allergies, then tells you whether it looks OK, needs care, or is best avoided. Scanning works in the Pantry too, so you can add what you already have straight from the package. Loose fruit and vegetables rarely carry useful barcode data, so those now send you to search by name instead of stopping at a dead end.

Drag a meal onto another to swap the two, with the move drawn so you can see where it lands. Your shopping list now opens straight from the plan, and the pantry shows what is on it at a glance. Today's date is marked clearly on the week. Clearer allergen notes on meal cards, plus polish across chat, cook mode and the safety lookups.
