WHY READERS LOVE ARCREADER
A reader designed for long sessions
Choose between four themes (Light, Dark, Sepia, Black AMOLED). Adjust font size, line spacing, font family, and margins to find your perfect setup. Switch between paginated mode with page-turn animation, or smooth continuous scroll.
Listen with on-device narration
Built-in neural text-to-speech turns any novel into an audiobook — runs entirely on your device. No internet required, no data costs, no monthly fees for the core feature. Adjustable speed from 0.75x to 2x, lock-screen controls, sleep timer, and auto-advance between chapters.
Offline-first reading
Downloaded content stays on your device in a local library — not a temporary cache. Read on airplanes, in tunnels, or anywhere connectivity is unreliable.
Import your own EPUB files
Already have books saved as EPUB? Import them straight into your library and read them with the same themes, fonts, and narration as everything else.
Look up words and build vocabulary
Tap any word for an instant dictionary definition, then save it as a flashcard. Review your flashcards later to lock in new vocabulary as you read.
Highlights and notes
Long-press to highlight passages in four colors with optional notes. Review all your highlights for any title in one place.
Reading position sync
Auto-saves your position every few seconds. Open a book on another device and continue exactly where you left off, after signing in.
No sign-up wall
Open the app and start reading. Account creation is optional — only needed if you want to sync between devices.

This has been the perfect replacement for my massive tab group of webnovels. It was always an uphill battle with them because of how terribly organized they were and now I feel like I’ve seen the light! I’m actually getting through webnovels I’ve wanted to read for years and I’m so glad I won’t have to deal with websites refreshing my page and losing my spot!
Developer Response
Thank you so much for the amazing review! ❤️ We’re thrilled that ArcReader has made organizing and enjoying your webnovels so much easier. Happy reading, and enjoy catching up on all those novels!

Looks Great and seems like it has all the features I’d want in something like this, from built in translation software to downloading novels for offline reading, as well as the ability to download some nice voices if you want it read to you. Also seems like it’s reasonably useful for free users too, which is a solid plus. Could maybe use some more options for voices, some newer translation versions and it doesn’t seem to download novels with the app closed or in the background as best I can tell though, so, four stars for now.
Developer Response
Thank you for the detailed review! We're really glad you're enjoying the translation, offline reading, TTS, and that the free experience has been useful. We appreciate your suggestions as well. We're actively working on adding more voice options and improving translation quality over time. As for background downloads, it's something we'd like to improve, though it's currently limited by iOS background execution restrictions. Thanks again for your feedback and support, we hope to earn that fifth star in a future update!

Best podcasT app.
This is by far the best reader I’ve used and am grateful to the person who made this, also I wanted to mention a small bug? On large novel chapters I imported the tts just stopped after 3ish lines of text
Developer Response
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! ❤️ We really appreciate you reporting the TTS issue. Could you let us know which voice you're using and, if possible, send us an example of an imported chapter where this happens? It'll help us investigate and fix it!
Good audiobook app.
Bearsard
Great app. Doesn’t work with all sites but is constantly improving without too many ads when free, good ad free price, constantly reducing bugs, and adding features.
Developer Response
Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re always working on supporting more sites and fixing bugs, so there’s more to come. If there’s a site you’d like added, feel free to reach out. Happy listening!
