Dry My Washing now opens more smoothly for returning users while securely checking App Store access in the background. We’ve also fixed an issue that could incorrectly ask you to enable location access when it was already allowed, along with general reliability improvements.

Introducing a new way to try Dry My Washing: • New customers receive full access for 14 days • No subscription or automatic charge • Continue after the trial with one lifetime purchase • Clearer access messaging across forecasts, widgets, alerts and Live Activities • Existing paid and eligible longtime customers retain their access • Reliability and accessibility improvements

Rain details are clearer, with an easier-to-open forecast view and drying quality explanation.

Improved Dry My Washing Pro messaging so it is clearer when rain rescue alerts, bring-in reminders, and Lock Screen tracking can help protect washing already outside.

Improved shower-risk guidance for days with very light, passing showers. Dry My Washing now gives clearer wording when conditions are usable but there is a small shower risk, with a more helpful hourly rain chance view powered by Apple Weather.

Version 1.7 now uses Apple Weather through WeatherKit for forecast data. This update also improves current-location naming, keeps widgets and Live Activity data aligned with the new weather source, and refreshes the privacy wording for the WeatherKit change.

Enhancements.

Fixes bring-in timing when a weather provider temporarily omits sunrise and sunset data, so winter daylight and evening damp rules stay accurate.

Version 1.6.2 improves drying-window reliability. The app now handles trace or nearby-rain forecasts more sensibly, so a high rain percentage with no measurable rain should not wipe out an otherwise useful drying window. It also fixes same-day washing tracking so you can start a session when there is a practical drying window today, even if the day is a bit marginal. The main screen has also been simplified to keep the forecast easier to read.
