Syno Manager is the beautiful, at-a-glance dashboard for your Synology NAS that DSM's mobile web UI never became.
Whether you're running a single DS-series at home or managing a fleet of enterprise RackStations, Syno Manager gives you a fast, native-feel view of everything your NAS is doing - without firing up a browser or squinting at DSM on a phone screen.
EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW, ONE TAP AWAY
• Real-time system vitals - CPU, RAM, temperature, uptime
• Storage pools and volumes with drive health (SMART)
• Network throughput per interface, live
• Resource monitor with history graphs
• UPS status - load, battery, runtime estimates
• Surveillance Station - camera status, recording state
• Active Backup for Business task health
• Download Station and Hyper Backup progress
• Shared folders, connected users, active sessions
• Service and package state
• Docker containers with live logs
• Full system logs with filtering
MANAGE, DON'T JUST WATCH
• Start / stop / restart Synology packages
• Toggle services
• Restart or pause Docker containers and tail their logs
• Update notification preferences
• Browse the file system
MULTI-NAS, NOT MULTI-APP
Add every NAS you own - home, office, parents' - and switch between them in one tap. Each gets its own credentials, independent session, and separate dashboard.
SECURITY FIRST
• Full 2FA (OTP) login support with device trust
• Auto-reauth on session expiry - credentials stored in iOS Keychain
• Runs entirely over your existing DSM HTTPS endpoint - no relay servers, no telemetry
BUILT FOR DSM 7
Syno Manager speaks DSM 7's Web API (publicly documented) and handles the quirks: JWT tokens for 2FA, dependent-package warnings, session recovery. Tested against DS220+, DS923+, RS1221+, DS1522+.
BEAUTIFUL ON PHONES AND TABLETS
Adaptive layouts for iPhone and iPad. Dark mode first. Designed to match your system appearance.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No cloud relay - app talks directly to your NAS
• No account, no email required
• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics (anonymous device IDs only)
• Every value shown comes straight from the official Synology Web API

I have this app and also one called NAS Pro. This one is by far the better app and the more stable one for me.

Very robust fast and a must have app, works flawlessly with my RS1221+

Thank you so much for the review, super excited to make the app even better please join our discord community.
Comprehensive, but flaky interface

I really like how much information this app shows about your NAS. The detail is very impressive. What’s not great, is it’s clearly not a native iOS app. Many swipe-back gestures don’t work, and many expected navigation animations are missing. It’s jarring to navigate around this app. It feels more like an Android interface wedged into an iOS app.

Hey. Join our Discord channel so I can understand more. I use it in my iPad and android and I try my best to address all issues. Would like to understand more what can be improved. In latest version I added back button to make it easier. Join discord, link in app and we can make the app better for us all.
A guided first launch with a demo-first path, a setup checklist that ticks itself, and tab and view setup detected for your NAS.
Connection problems now come with one-tap fixes.
Empty lists tell you what to do next, loading uses skeletons, and failed reads show Retry instead of fake zeros.
One tidy actions menu replaces rows of buttons.
New Send logs to support and Help screens.
Arc-based NAS temperatures fixed.
Crash fix in the developer menu.
