Fabric Yardage & Binding
Quilt backing, WOF list
$4.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
See the WOF preset beside the rounded amount in your Fabric Buy List.
Fabric Yardage & Binding shows the rounded buy amount with the selected WOF preset beside it, keeping the existing Fabric Buy List basis visible.
Use it when you need to know how much to buy, whether backing needs panels, how many binding strips to cut, or how many pieces a fixed cut can yield. Results keep exact math, rounded store amounts, WOF, assumptions, warnings, and project notes together so you can share or reopen the decision at the store or cutting table.
Built for quilt planning, fabric-store trips, stash checks, and reorder decisions.
What you can do:
- build a shareable Fabric Buy List from every result
- calculate general yardage for repeated cuts across common WOF presets
- estimate quilt backing with overhang, seam loss, and wide-back options
- calculate binding and border amounts with visible rounding
- check piece yield before you cut into stash or yardage
- save project assumptions locally for later reorder or cutting decisions
Why people pay for it:
- one fabric underbuy can cost another trip, shipping, or a stalled project
- faster than juggling separate quilting calculators before checkout
- one-time purchase with no account, no subscription, and no cloud setup
Use the app for planning, then verify pattern instructions, shrinkage, print direction, and final cutting choices before cutting.
