WAY — Live Crew Map

Find friends at festivals

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Gigs, ski trips, city nights: put your crew on one map, ping a friend to find them, and let every shared location expire on its own. No ads, no tracking. Lost your friends in a crowd again? WAY puts your whole crew on one map so you can find each other in seconds — at festivals, concerts, gigs, parks, ski slopes, anywhere. No phone numbers. No social accounts. No ads. Just swap QR codes and you're connected. — WHY WAY — • Built for festivals, designed for everywhere • Friends only see you when YOU let them • Allow background location and your crew's pings can be answered while your phone stays in your pocket • Zero tracking, zero analytics, zero data brokers — FEATURES — • Share your location with the crew you choose — one toggle per friend — and see how fresh each of their pins is • Tap any friend to "Find" them — they get a private ping, answered automatically or with a tap, their choice • Auto-approve — crew pings are answered automatically by default; switch it off for anyone you'd rather approve by hand • Pin notes — leave a 20-character status above your pin ("main stage", "by the bar") • Festival Mode — for a set stretch of hours, every crew ping is answered automatically, even from friends you normally approve by hand, then it switches itself off. Save your own presets ("Night Out", "Quick Meetup") • Ghost Mode — kill all sharing instantly with one tap • QR codes & invite links — add friends in seconds, and any phone camera can scan your code • Emoji pins for you and every friend, with 10 glow colors to pick from • Friend trails — see where your crew's shared pins have been over the last 24 hours, stored only on your device • In English, French and German — WAY follows your device's language — SAFETY FIRST — • Strangers with your code can ping you, but get nothing unless you say yes — add, ignore or block them • Block list and a share code you can rotate instantly • Every shared location auto-expires after 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on your battery preset (Standard, Battery Saver or All-Day Mode), and expired pins drop off the map on their own • One tap in the Privacy tab revokes every location you've shared — WAY+ (optional) — A one-time purchase: £4.99 in the UK, US$4.99 in the US, and the price for your country is shown before you buy. Not a subscription — nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel. • Unlimited crew — the free version covers a crew of up to 5 friends • All-day Festival Mode — sessions up to 24 hours instead of 4 • Restore it on any device signed in to the same Apple Account Finding friends, pings, pin notes, trails, emoji pins, Ghost Mode, the block list and every privacy control are free. There's also an optional tip jar — it unlocks nothing, it just says thanks. — PRIVACY — WAY runs on Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), so you'll need to be signed in to iCloud. Your crew list and settings live on your device and in your own iCloud; the only things shared are your display name, share code and short-lived locations, stored on Apple's servers, not ours. No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ads. Your share code is random, and the only thing attached to it is the display name you pick — no phone number, email or Apple ID. Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Lists now always end clear of the tab bar, so the last item stays visible and tappable, including at larger text sizes and on iPad.
