A new start for new users, a new icon, and resaw is easier to read. • The first minute. New to resaw? A short intro lets you practice a share, then save one of your own once you sign in. • Meet Iris. A small, wordless helper who shows up at a few moments, like while Ask prepares an answer or a link is being saved. Turn her off in Settings > Show Iris. • A new app icon, made for Liquid Glass, with dark, clear and tinted looks. • Easier to read in light mode, with darker text throughout. Places you have visited on the map now carry a check mark. • On iOS 17 and 18, the tab bar and cook-along now appear as they should. • A recipe reminder now opens the recipe instead of starting a cook-along. • Ready for iOS 27. resaw is free, and you can save as much as you like. New in this version: • Save by message. Connect Telegram or WhatsApp in Settings, then send resaw a link, a photo or a file in the chat. It lands in your vault, even with resaw closed. • Dark mode. resaw follows your iPhone, or pick Light or Dark in Settings. • Recipe info. Calories and protein per serving, allergens, and amounts that rescale from 1 to 24 servings. • Grocery list. The ingredients you're missing, from all your recipes, in one list grouped by aisle. • Cook again. A recipe you marked done keeps its way back into the cook-along. • Notifications have their own screen in Settings. Plus fixes and faster screens throughout.

resaw Premium is here. • Unlimited vault: save as much as you like, and everything waiting comes in. • 2,000 AI credits a month for vault chat, the cookbook, trip plans and the other AI tools. The free plan includes 150. • Use resaw on all your devices. Choose monthly or yearly in Settings. Everything you have already saved stays yours on every plan. Also in this update: the paywall and Settings show how many saves and AI credits you have used, and a number of fixes under the hood.

Remind me, at a time that fits. A recipe suggests before dinner, a place suggests Friday evening, and you can also pick any date and time. The time shows on the save, and if notifications are off, resaw can add it to your Calendar instead. Bring in your whole Instagram history. The 5,000 save limit is gone, and the import card on Home shows how long each step has left. Recipes, places, workouts, how-tos and articles now have a next step one tap away: Cook this, Directions, Follow steps, Read now or Remind me. Fixes: cancelling Google or Apple sign-in no longer shows an error, saves no longer sit on "analysing" when the work behind them has stopped, and Instagram exports are read more reliably.

Save anything, from any app. Share a post, a video or a page to resaw and it lands on Home, sorted and ready to find, even with resaw closed. The first run shows you how, and how to put resaw first in your share sheet. Bring in your Instagram saves without the guesswork: a step by step guide, a reminder when the export is ready, and every save filed at once. Memory Pings: two or three times a week, resaw brings back one of your own saves at a useful moment, a saved recipe before dinner or a plan for the weekend. Off by default, one switch per moment in Settings. Announcements on Home, a Good timing? check on pings, and a Before you go screen if you ever decide to leave. Fixes for imported thumbnails, folder placement and the map.

NEW: Folders now have sub-folders. Large auto-sorted vaults are grouped under a handful of top-level folders such as Recipes, Travel and Fashion, with places filed under Travel by country. Open a folder to see what's inside. Ask replies faster, shows the saves it drew on as tappable cards with thumbnails, and answers appear at once instead of typing out. Saves from your Instagram export now get a thumbnail, caption and the creator's handle within minutes of importing, instead of a blank tile. Fixed: creator handles on imported saves are always real @usernames. Under the hood: resaw can now deliver small fixes without a full App Store update.

Import the .zip Instagram sends you, exactly as it arrives. No unzipping, no digging for saved_posts.html inside the folder. Fixed: a large import could say "Import failed" while it was still working, then finish fine a minute later. resaw now waits as long as the import really takes. Fixed: organizing a big hoard into folders no longer reports a failure after the items have already landed. If your export holds more than 5,000 saves, resaw brings in the 5,000 most recent and now tells you how many are still waiting. Backing out of the file picker is no longer counted as a failed import. Trimmed a repeated screen from the first-run walkthrough.

NEW: A redesigned first-run walkthrough with real screenshots and clips showing the app in action. Cook-along and Counter mode, side by side. Cook-along plays your saved clip alongside the steps and now sets a timer automatically when a step mentions one. Counter mode is the big-card, hands-free glass view. See real progress while resaw analyzes a save or builds a cook-along, instead of a spinner. Fixed: Cook-along no longer shows a false "Couldn't build" error when it was actually still working. Fixed: Spectrum folder colors now shade a single color you pick, and match across Home, Map, and Ask. Fixed: saves imported from your Instagram export keep their original save date.
