Bills now ask before they post PennyFi used to enter recurring bills on its own, without a word. Now anything due can be listed for you to approve, edit, or skip first — and you can change the amount before it's recorded, which matters for loan payments that move month to month. Set it per bill, or leave the ones with known amounts posting on their own. Settings › Recurring Bills. Nothing due quietly disappears A loan payment you missed used to vanish from every screen the day after it was due. Missed bills, planned one-offs, and loan payments now stay visible, and Upcoming has a new Missed list that answers "what didn't I get to?" — including up to a year of unpaid loan and card minimums. Built for iOS 27 and macOS 27 Toasts, progress indicators, and the iCloud banner pick up the system's Liquid Glass materials. Layouts follow the window, not the device Resize PennyFi on iPad and the content re-lays as you go. Reflect's summary figures no longer run into each other in a narrow window, and Money Flow comes back when you widen it again. Money Flow's labels no longer clip mid-word or sit on top of each other. Payers, where you needed them Editing a transaction can now create a payee without leaving the sheet, and income asks for a payer instead. Logging an upcoming item shows the payer it will use and lets you change it — planned items used to be saved without one. The right currency on every amount A euro bill was labelled with your app currency in the recurring list, its editor, and the split editor. Every figure now shows the currency of the account it belongs to. Mac, finished properly Every add button behind Settings — Categories, Payees, Tags, Rules, Recurring, Split & Settle — now opens what it should, and going back returns you to the pane you came from. Sheets carry the app's own colors instead of a gray system strip, and their buttons sit on a solid bar rather than printing over the row underneath. Search fits the window. Also in this release • Cost Basis, Total P&L, and Today share one size, so the portfolio row reads level • When a cash-flow projection is already negative, the zero line no longer draws across the card header • Bill reminders now tell you when notifications are switched off, instead of failing silently • Menu icons stay where they identify an account or category, rather than an action PennyFi 2.7 requires iOS 27 or macOS 27. On Mac it is now Apple silicon only — a smaller download with nothing in it your Mac can't run.

What's New in PennyFi 2.6 This update is all about clarity — making your numbers easier to read at a glance. Your balances are green again Positive balances read green once more — across Accounts, section totals, and Cash on Hand — while debt stays red. The quieter, colour-neutral look we tried in 2.5 turned out to be harder to scan, so meaningful colour is back. Expenses look like expenses Top Expenses on the Home screen now shows its amounts in red, so money going out clearly reads as money going out. Easier to read The amber budget bar and several menu labels didn't stand out enough against their backgrounds. Both are fixed, and all five themes were re-checked for legibility. Income, broken out On iPad and Mac, the Money Flow diagram now splits income into its real sources — salary, freelance, and the rest — instead of a single combined bar. Cancelling an export just cancels Backing out of a backup or CSV export used to report it as a failure. Now it simply stops, with nothing to dismiss. Tidier Home cards Top Expenses and Recent Transactions now carry icons, matching the cards around them — plus the usual round of smaller fixes and polish. As always, your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud — no accounts, no tracking.

Just undo it — the entry is removed cleanly, transfers and all. • Repair orphaned transactions. A new screen finds any transactions that lost their account (after a merge or import) and lets you reassign them in a tap, so nothing quietly goes missing from your totals. • Deep Black widgets. Home Screen widgets can now use a solid black background that melts into a dark wallpaper — pick it from Edit Widget. • Faster holding updates. Swipe any holding to add to your position, and buying or selling now flows through your funding account as a proper transfer. Improved • Cleaner, calmer visual design throughout: colour is reserved for things that actually need your attention, surfaces are more consistent, and every screen scales properly with larger text. • More of the app is now fully translated, including category names, the Financial Health Score, and the in-app info sheets. • Budgets now show and total the "Other" row for a parent category correctly. Fixed • Fixed a rare data-loss bug when merging accounts or cleaning up duplicate categories. • Cross-currency holding buys and sells are now blocked when no exchange rate is available, instead of recording the wrong amount. • Corrected several balance and net-worth calculations so figures agree across every screen, including accounts that hold investments in another currency. • Fixed a freeze when switching the range on an account's history.
