Fork 1.8 makes everything faster to reach and nicer to use. • New Home: Chats, Dashboard, Notifications, and Profile are one tap away in the new tab bar. • Start chatting instantly: the New chat button turns right into the message field. Hold it to record a voice message, or lock it to talk hands-free. • Voice mode: talk with your assistant out loud and hear it answer. • Search everything: pull down on your chats to find chats, mini apps, and people. Recent apps and profiles are right there, and tapping a person opens your conversation. • Virtual computer: your assistant can work in its own browser to get tasks done while you watch live. Website sign-ins stay encrypted with a key only your devices hold. • Mini app chats: talk to a mini app's agent and start a fresh conversation anytime. • Smoother animations across chats, search, and mini apps, plus many fixes and improvements.

Fork now puts your conversations and AI assistant at the center. We redesigned the chat list and navigation, moved web mini apps into a dedicated Dashboard, and improved creative and browser-backed responses.

We’ve made Fork easier to use for newcomers, with a clearer, more intuitive experience.

This update adds support for Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra, giving you more options for your chats and projects. Plus, bug fixes and stability improvements for a smoother experience.

Users can now create new mini apps directly within the app. Fork Assistant can generate apps, and users can also view and edit the files of the apps they create for educational purposes.
