Thoughtbook: Private Journal
Your thoughts, encrypted
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The first public release of Thoughtbook. Write privately, keep it encrypted on your device, and export a backup whenever you want to move.
Thoughtbook is a journal for the thoughts you would not put anywhere else.
Everything you write is locked on your device. No account, no cloud, no sync. Nothing you write ever leaves your phone, so nobody can read it but you. Not even us.
What's inside
• A plain, fast editor that gets out of the way
• A calendar view of everything you've written
• Favourites, for the ones worth coming back to
• Encrypted backups you can move to a new phone
• Works offline, always
Thoughtbook is free and open source, so you can check that it does exactly what it says.
